The company will not remove my e-mail address from their mailing lists. I have attempted 10 times in the last year to remove my e-mail address using the unsubscribe link in e-mails I seem to receive several times a week and they simply do not work.
I will never shop there again.
Follow-up: I received a response that they have removed my e-mail address but that I could receive e-mails up to 7-10 days afterwards. How are you unable to edit you lists immediately, even with a third party e-mail service? Is it too much trouble to propagate the changes? And why are you disseminating e-mail addresses outside of your company?
This type of response is why you will get no further business from me.

Great product great price great customer service
I really love the clothing at DXL. My problem is we used to have a store in Reading, PA. You closed the store now I have to make a special trip to Lancaster or the Philadelphia Outlets. This is at minimum a 2 hour dive. One hour each way. This is a hassle to do and due to it I can not make the trip enough nor do I want to travel this far for clothes. I really wish that a new store would be built in Reading or give coupons to customers who have to travel so far to get to a store. The coupons online are nice but I want to actually see and feel the cloths before I purchase them.

I had an online return and went to the Winton Salem, NC store to return it. I have never been treated so bad and disrespected in all my years of shopping. The lady first of all made the comment (its people like us who shop online is the reason stores are closing). Then she went on to say out loud she was going to call her vice president and complain. After she realized we used After Pay she called up customer service and complained to them over speaker phone that I had to use After Pay due to the fact I couldn't afford to or didn't have a credit card. (Again on speaker phone) This is not true after pay is just convenient. She finally decided to finish up the return only after I told her I would take the stuff back and go to another store. To her comment (people who shop online is the reason stores are closing) that's not true. It's rude people, like her, is why people no longer want to go in store shopping. I will never shop in that DXL again . I will also tell everyone I know just how rude she was. My wife and I both are managers who work with the public. We would never allow someone to treat customers like this. To me this is an embarrassment to DXL.

Let's see. I order something Saturday, 7/29, and I get a shipment email on 7/31. 8/2, lo and behold, the item hasn't shipped as stated. It's my first purchase with these people and I'm starting to get cold feet.

DXL is supposed to be a specialty shop for larger men but the pricing is outrageous. Womens specialty shops have buy 1 get one, buy 1 get 1 50% off and even 40% off sales. By the time a shirt goes on sale here the only thing left is 1xl to 3xl where you can get at your local walmart. This store is not catered to regular people. We try to shop there because my husband is a larger man but its not as often as we like due to the pricing. Store personnel are also less than enthused to help you. high prices and poor customer service in store.

7/5/23 appx. 4:30p. Homestead, PA poor service. I was trying to purchase a shirt and maybe a T fur a family event. Staff person never stopped folding shirts only have a casual point in the direction I needed to go. I am her to pull down a shirt, she made me feel like an annoyance. I circled the store several times and no one offered to assist me.

This place is a complete RIP OFF! Was in there on 6/10/2023 lake Grove location want to the clearance rack picked out a polo tee shirt tag said $75 marked down 30% tee shirt came out to be $53 dollars the problem I have is that tee shirt was marked up before they put the red 30% circle sticker on it. stop playing games with people's money

DXL doesn't know how to take no for an answer. I have unsubscribed to their emails multiple times yet they keep reinstating those emails.
6/8/23: in response to your reply, I don't know what more information I can provide. I've asked you to unsubscribe me multiple times and that means no, I don't want to hear from you any longer. But then you keep reinstating the subscription and sending me emails that I don't want to receive. That's what I mean by not taking no for an answer.

Order came in wrong color. Wanted to charge me $7.50 to return item that was sent wrong and not my fault. Called customer service and spoke to a very pleasant and helpful person named Mary. She is sending me the correct color at no charge and no charge for returning the wrong item

I was at the DXL store in Danbury Connecticut and met the wonderful manager Michael. He help me with all my needs. He was very professional and very patient. He deserves more than five stars. I will continue to go to that DXL store.

I love the clothing! It would be nice, though, if they either quit offering (and charging for) expedited shipping or actually got it shipped as promised. This is the second time (of twice that I’ve paid for quick shipping) that they’re simply not getting it to me.
This would be less of an issue if it weren’t combined with the fact that they’re available inventory at my local store consistently sucks.
If I could find clothing I like ANYWHERE else I would take my business there.

Nope. Just NO!!
I have been a loyal customer there since 2006. Spent thousands of dollars. They somehow messed up my email address and took away all my earned points & sent to another email (not mine!) . I have called their headquarters 5x and it’s STILL NOT FIXED!! I’m not sure who is running this company but please do not patronize them. Have no idea how to get this issue fixed and no one at their customer service line seems to care!!

Good store for plus sizes and I like the rewards program
Visited the store in Madison TN with my son. He’s tall but skinny. Both employees made it clear that he didn’t belong there. We were only looking for dress socks but what if we came looking for a tie, socks or to buy a gift for someone who was considered large? The continuous reminder that he wasn’t “BIG” enough to buy their clothes was irritating! After his purchase, a different employee yelled “tell your big friends about us”! REALLY?!?! Like the money he spent was irrelevant! Do better! Even if he had come looking for a shirt for himself & couldn’t fit anything in the store, play it off! Up sell something else! ACT like you want the patronage! Will I recommend this location, ABSOLUTELY NOT! And sadly, we know several people who could benefit from shopping here! Stop body shaming potential customers!

Wide range from causal to formal wear for big guys but I will no longer shop here anymore no one sales clothing for the retail price but they do, seriously overpriced. Make sure to search around before purchasing found same jacket priced there at $90 at another location for $47 jeans same thing. Returned!!! OUCH!!!
Experience has been fine. The reason for “eh” rating is lack of new brands or designs. Same ole stuff, especially dress shirts so I’ve been ordering a lot more from competitors or custom fit shirts. Want my business back? Get some new inventory. Something other than Brooks Brothers.
I ordered a coat in store for a trip I was going on in 2 days because the coat was out of stock. I paid to have it overnighted for the next day but it didn’t ship that day like it was supposed to and was projected to arrive late. I called DXL support the next morning when they opened, and I requested they change the ship address. They could not guarantee that it would go through in time but I checked 30 minutes later and the shipping address had been updated, and a discount had been added to the shipping for the inconvenience. DXL support was very courteous and understanding. I would recommend this company to anyone.
