I signed with Dharma approximately 10 years ago. I have been a loyal customer and appreciated their fairness, I called them the "oxymoron" of credit card processing. I highly recommended them to people who asked when opening a business.

I recently discovered a fraudulent transaction in the form of a refund in my business bank account. I immediately called their help desk and was told there wasn't a fraudulent transaction, if I just went to the website and looked at my account I would see it. I keep every receipt cash and cc attached to the batch out slip they are applied to. The second representative told me - All I had were pieces of paper - go to the website and look at my account and would see it. I asked for a manager - was told there was none, I asked for the fraud dept. I was told the risk dept would get back to me - 3 hrs later no phone call. This went on all day, and I had to keep making the attempts to get some sort of help.
I spent over a week - getting a new account opened and getting this issue resolved. I am a small business in a winter resort town - this is now a week before the beginning of the ski season. In setting up a new account with them I discovered my funds were no longer being deposited overnight in a timely manner. They would be deposited in the afternoon.
I contacted them. Was told my platform was no longer available and basically it is what it is. I am a small business processing the majority of my sales during the ski season by credit card - this is not good for small business. I was told it's my banks fault they need to be in real time. My bank is in real time. I was told by the Dharma support representative in emails that there was nothing they could do they don't control the banks and they were sorry if I couldn't wait a few hours for my money to be transferred into my account. Almost a decade of having my cards process overnight into my account to pay checks etc. I find this appalling. This is corporate greed at its best. I now have to change companies' mid-season after being a loyal customer for almost a decade. I am curious if their processing fees will be debited before I am credited for my sales of the previous day, my guess...I am sure it will. Namaste. PR

We went to Dharma in 2019. One of the reasons is because they are supposedly a Bcorp. Every year we had major issues with them and my most recent issue was 12-07-25. I own a bar and we are open until 2am. Their developers decided to push out new files at 2:17am and it auto batched our terminals out. My employees lost 2 days of tips. They also refused me to speak with a manager.

Dharma has great, US based support - anytime you need it. The people who work for them know the answers and are very polite. The cost of the credit card machine was much less with them, and their fees are completely spelled out - with no grey areas. Their fees are also very reasonable. I am very happy with their service.
