Worst delivery experience ever

They first of all didn’t give any updates about the delivery of any value. On the day itself they didn’t want to give me a time slot, so I had to wait at home all day. Once they said they had missed me while they didn’t even ring the doorbell. This is a high-quality delivery and I expect good delivery

AARRGH!

AARRGH: customer service. DHL was to deliver a package from Amazon. According to DHL they did not receive my email address from Amazon, Amazon says my email address was given. On DHL Portal I did connect the package to my data, so email/phone etc : delivery instructions should be known. Twice failed attempt to deliver (because 'without my email they do not know my instructions'?) and now delivery to servicepoint.
Because they do not have my email (read: 'they cannot add it to my deliver for some reason'), they cannot give me a code. Because you need email OR app (not possible for Android 8). Apparently they will not give you the code in your portal.
Contact though chat 3x: pointless..use app or contact Amazon to give us your email. But you have it! No, Amazon needs to give it. But they did! No, they did not. Spoke to Amazon 3x, now cancelled this shipment and re-ordered, hopefully no DHL.
So contacte Tracey chatbot DHL to complain about pushing the app, while it is not compatible with Android 8 anymore and not wanting to give a code through a portal that is protected by username/password. Do you want us to call you? Yes! Get a call: waiting in line for an available employee!!
I get that it is a Saturday and that customer service is manned by mainly people with their textbook in front of them and no actual client service attitude, but come on!!

Pickup point

After my packages had been left at the door several times, I opted to have it delivered to a designated pickup point. Nevertheless, I received an email informing me that the package had been delivered to a different pickup point farther away. DHL can only be contacted through its chat agent. The agent informed me that once a package is delivered to any pickup point—even an incorrect one—they do not correct it. They place the problem on the customer. If the customer is unable to collect the package from the alternate location, it is returned to the sender in 7 days.

Lost package

DHL its a joke, they lost my package and they dont wont admit that its their fault, now i dont have package and nobody will return for this package, it was last time when i cooperate with them.

Do not use DHL Express.

This is beyond frustrating. I already left a review before, but nobody seems to know how to solve my problem. The website is a complete disaster — it doesn’t clearly show whether you’re sending via e-commerce or express. I even created an account, downloaded the apps, and followed every step. Still, no clear answers, no proper help. Honestly, postal service in the Netherlands has become one of the poorest and most unreliable ever.

I’m extremely disappointed with DHL. First, they made me remove some items that apparently couldn’t be shipped — which I did following their own instructions — and then they told me everything was fine to send my package to Spain. Now they tell me I have to pick it up myself in Amsterdam. This is unacceptable! It clearly shows that the staff have no idea what they’re doing. I followed every rule they asked for, and in the end, I’m the one who has to travel even farther to fix their mistake. Terrible service!

Horrible Company

What a horrendous, garbage, horrible company is this. The worst employees i have met in my life. If you do not open within 2 seconds of them hitting your door bell 5 times they are beating om your door to the point where you think that you are being raided by a swat team.

Disgusting company, disgusting people, disgusting customer service system where you spend 6 years to find a phone number or to come in contact with a human being.

On top of that the other side of coin is them just not showing up and dumping your package 15-20minutes driving away because the employees are too lazy to properly deliver a simple package.

A driver grabbed my arm and twisted it

A driver grabbed my arm and twisted it. I was in an elevator with my dog. The driver came into the lobby after me, but was shoving his packages in the elevator even though there wasn't enough space. I asked him to wait so I could take my dog up and then he could take the packages up. He kept shoving me with the package, so I pulled out my phone to record, at which point he twisted my arm.

I lost my package because of poor operations and communication from DHL

I sent my broken drone from Mexico to Netherlands during my bike tour, despite the fact that it was indicated as a personal item I was charged an excessive amount of customs fee. I sent DHL my original invoice of purchase, it was purchased in the Netherlands - the very same country of delivery. DHL opened a case for investigation and assured me both in writing and on the phone that the package would not be sent back while the case was running. Then they sent it back without informing me, it arrived in Mexico and authorized for disposal. That was because they didn't hear back from me on the customs fee in Mexico for two weeks, which was impossible as I only heard about it a week after all that happened when I called DHL for an update. Now I lost my drone and my journal of 8 months of bike tour through the Americas and DHL Express is not accepting any blame or compensating me on my losses.

Worst delivery company ever!!!!!

Worst delivery company ever!!!!!! They don't ring the doorbell and if they mark it as delivered the package isn't even there! I have lost 2 packages in 1 day.

DHL Netherlands is the worst delivery service

DHL Netherlands is the worst delivery company I have ever experienced. Several times they marked my package "not home" even though I stayed in all day waiting for them. They never came. The next day, they dropped it off at a DHL point, even though that was not the delivery address. This happened twice. Today, the driver left the package at the front door, not inside the apartment building. Anyone could have walked away with it. Never rang my bell. A consistently horrible delivery service. Does not even rate 1 star. DHL = Delay Hide Lose

Stolen items & fake signatures

I swear genuinely and respectfully, these people are hiring the most idiotic and least iq level people to work as a delivery driver. They give away to random houses while faking the signature of the delivery . Sometimes they steal the packages themself. Signature fraud, theft are very common between these delivery people. I am living in the netherlands, purmerend. I have faced many packages stolen, many signatures faked. I hope you can manage to hire trusted people one day DHL. I cannot deliver my feelings and thoughts more politely than this but it is still okay because you cannot deliver at all. Please check your employees and bring a measurement on these deliveries especially should be done via signatures. They just do it themselves. Dont you know this is illegal and fraud? As a company you are doing an illegal action by faking a signature. This comment is especially for DHL express, no confusion on this. I have all the door camera records etc. What are they thinking???
Event record: delivery number 9199440040. Delivery time marked as 15 May 15.47PM CET. The delivery person faked my signature and kept the package or gave it to someone else. The delivery is never been made. The item was expensive jewelry. Do not use DHL, or DHL express for expensive items.

I have never had a worst experience

I have never had a worst experience. Every time I have a package delivered with them, I receive a notification saying that they could not deliver the package as no one was home when in fact I have been sitting at home the whole day waiting for my package to arrive. They don’t even try to ring, they just find it easier to drop all the packages at the package point....

I sent a package from the Netherlands…

I sent a package from the Netherlands to Brazil and it arrived another package. It has been one month and no refund! Called many times ,tried email ...nothing! They just don't refund me! And the package was sent back to the Netherlands.

My package contains only smartphone screens but they delayed delivery and put it on hold. Literally destroying my business where I had customers time line that wanted to travel due to Easter holidays and I agreed to fix their phones yesterday.
I lost 400 euros and my customers and now I don't need the products anymore so I have also to return
AVOID stupid DHL and use UPS much better and never probelm

THE WORST

I couldn't rate this company as a zero so it'll be a one (DHL NETHERLANDS). Dropped off my package at a service point and DHL confirmed pick up of the shipment via email. The shipment status did not update for two weeks from which I had to contact customer service. I was then informed that the package was simply lost. Very disappointed with their service and efforts to investigate.

DHL stop this bad service

I lived in multiple countries. DHL in the Netherlands is the worst delivery service I have seen so far. I waited for a delivery until 10 pm 2 days in a row. They never delivered the parcel and would send me notification a day after with a new time and date. I don’t know if they heard about something called customer service. I urge organizations and individuals to STOP using their services.

The delivery coming from abroad

The delivery coming from abroad, was not annouced and not at the right place. It was delivered in another town. At a local parcelstation. After a week it was delivered. I had to pay an invoice for customs within 15 days and DHL express delivered to late and now threatened to increase costs. I call this bad service.

Waited until 10pm at night for my…

Waited until 10pm at night for my delivery only to receive an email that I wasn’t home. The driver never came to my house that I am sure off!

They then promised to deliver the package between 10am and 5pm the next day. The package arrived at 4:30.

This time the driver managed to find the door bell with a big blue light and didn’t just dump my package at my front door like the previous!

Customers service asked me to wait and see. What kind of answer is that?

Ridiculously poor service for such a big company.

Avoid DHL to save your parcel and money

DHL express should change their name to "DHL- whenever we want to deliver". please do not trust the no. of days they mention when booking the delivery. it will always be late or never reach the destination. and when you complain all u hear is- "yeah we cannot do anything." in a way they are right, it is my mistake that i choose them for delivering important documents. worst customer service ever! never ever going with DHL.

Very bad and poor service

Very bad and poor service. I even start to think that their couriers stealing the packages.
Few months ago I ordered rare parfums. DHL e-commerce wrote that it is "delivered". By fact none came, I did not receive anything. And tried to contact DHL e-commerce hundred times, they did not do anything!!!!
Last week I had to receive samples from DHL express to my office. They again notified that the package was delivered. But neither me nor anyone else from my office did not receive it. Even none from DHL came that day. When we contacted DHL, they said that the courier delivered our package wrong address but they do not know whish and they will investigate.
Guess what: two weeks passed, no answer, no package!!!!!!!!
Guys, let's bojkot DHL. Is not normal, more people of who I know have the same experience. DHL steal our packages and thus our money
