What a lovely spot
What a lovely spot. And the villa is wonderful. We were eight (which is a small number for such a large place!) and were so comfortable - the number of bathrooms was particularly appreciated! Much time and fun by the beautiful pool, family suppers in the outside dining area and watching the stunning sunsets over the Italian countryside. The villa is also wonderful for exploring local villages and towns. We recommend Spello, Montefalco, Assisi (don’t miss the stunning cathedral) and we found Tivoli a wonderful spot for lunch on the way back to the airport in Rome. Thank you to our hosts for everything you did to make us welcome!

Charming rustic villa with great pool
Really nice villa in a lovely rural location but close to good restaurants and places of interest. Full of rustic charm and character but would benefit a little investment in the kitchen. The outdoor bbq area is fab and the pool was the highlight for our family visit. Would we visit again - possibly.

Our booking with DH Villas was well-organised and friendly.
Villa Petroia is a very special place. The villa is a thoughtfully designed family home that is both welcoming and stylish. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside with amazing views of olive groves, castles, rolling hills and the Apennines beyond. We saw deer, wild boar, butterflies and fireflies at night.
The villa has extensive gardens and a large immaculate swimming pool right in front of the house. Fruit trees and plenty of shady spots to sit quietly are scattered throughout the garden.
It is a short drive from Villa Petroia to Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia and other Umbrian hilltop towns. Daily markets and local shops provide delicious food and there are a number of excellent local restaurants.
Villa Petroia has provided our family with a peaceful, restorative escape from busy lives and a place for adventure.

We have had the best time at villa del Duca and with Francesca who was most kind and hospitable She was also an excellent Cook that made us an authentic italien dinner twice. Wonderful villa with a few hiccups
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful villa! The online photos were clearly taken with care 😉 — and they do justice to the charm of the place. It’s peacefully remote, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and very comfortable.
We did experience a temporary issue with hot water, but the owner responded promptly by installing a new boiler during our stay — a much-appreciated gesture. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was out of order from day one and wasn’t repaired during our visit, which was quite inconvenient. The owner kindly offered a box of prosecco to make up for it, which was a nice touch, though we would have preferred a working dishwasher.
Despite that, the overall experience was great. Thank you, Andrea, for your hospitality!

Wow, what a place! Villa Luisa is huge, beautiful, and super clean. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the owners are some of the kindest and most caring people I’ve ever met, they really make you feel right at home.
The area is very peaceful, but you’re only about 30 minutes from Rimini. There are fun party spots nearby if you want some nightlife, as well as gorgeous beaches and great restaurants for Family and Friends.
Honestly, it was the perfect holiday, amazing villa, lovely hosts, and the best mix of relaxation and things to do. Highly recommend!

Perfect Italian vacation
We had a truly wonderful stay at Casa Magica! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. We were a group of five adults and a one-year-old, and the villa suited us perfectly.
The view over San Lorenzo in Campo is absolutely breathtaking — a peaceful, picturesque landscape that we’ll remember for a long time. The pool was ideal — crystal clean and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Marche region.
A special thank you to Claudio, the host, who was incredibly helpful and warm throughout our stay. His kindness made our visit even more memorable.
We also want to thank DH Villas, through whom we booked the property. They helped organize a fantastic winery tour with wine and olive oil tasting, and a truly fun pizza experience, where we learned how to make our own pizza from scratch — and of course, ate way too much of it!
We truly hope to return to Casa Magica someday — it lived up to its name in every way!

We stayed at DH Villa Azzurra 5. It was a great stay. The location is a really, really great place to be. The view is fantastic, especially the sunset. Dariana and her husband take care of the site in a perfect manner The whole house is very, very well equipped.

We had the special private chef from L’Enosteria which we can certainly recommend. Great food, wine and off course cooking.
Pesaro is a nice place for family beach holidays with good to great restaurants. We had definitely a great holiday in house Cavalli and the area. Also great 👍🏼 for Andrea and the DH team that were always available and helpful
