Do NOT Trust Dic*k's DSI
Do NOT Trust Dic-ks Sanitation (DSI)! They raised our monthly price from $132.32 per month in 2020 to $354.54 in 2025! My business was a loyal customer from 2012 through 2025 for our trash and recycling removal.
DSI Dic-k's Sanitation used to be family owned. Got bought by some greedy national company. I trusted them and setup autopay. They were a fine company until the acquisition. After finding out, I called four other companies who provide service in Burnsville MN, and they all quoted me a "fair" monthly rate similar to (but less than) what DSI Di-ck's Sanitation used to charge us in 2020. Nitti Sanitation, Aspen Waste and Suburban Waste all quoted me around $110 for identical service that DSI Dic*k's Sanitation was charging me $354.54 - (same size and number of trash cans, same number of pickups per month, same location). DSI Di-k's tries to give you a hassle when you cancel too!
Their market manager, Howard Enroth, tried to tell me that all companies in town raise their prices like this. Not True! I spoke with several of them. The manager knows how much I was being ripped off, so they offered this: "DSI would like to offer you 12 months of service at no charge. (1/1/2026-12/31/2026)." First of all, I would never do business again with a company that rips people off. Secondly, this offer is less than 1/3 of how much they ripped me off. At this point, I just want to warn other trusting people to NOT trust DSI/Di*k's Sanitation. Jeff Weast is the Market Area Sales Manager. He made not attempt whatsoever to make this right with me either. They simply sent my account into collections, when I tried to get some money back from my credit card that I had setup autopay with.
(Di*k's Sanitation increased our price from $132.32 to $201.18 in 2022, then to $243.28 in 2023, up to $290.08 in 2024 up to $354.54 in 2025!!!).
Di*k's is NOT a company that you can trust. People are struggling these days. Shame on you Di*k's Sanitation!
