8/10. Small, but as expected!
Finally took the plunge to complete the 3hr drive from Manchester to visit both Diddly Squat and the Farmers Dog. We stayed over night to make the most of the weekend.
We decided to do Diddly Squat early on the Sunday to avoid any ques, and were pleasantly surprised. We arrived around 1030, and parked literally outside the shop. A steady flow of people around but we were able to walk straight in and around the shop. Maybe because its January, it was drizzling, and it was early(ish). We headed to the seating outside to admire the views, and left approximately 20 mins later as we wanted to head back over to the Farmers Dog (visited saturday) prior to heading home.
I really wanted an Emma Bridgewater cup, and assumed the shop would sell them? But they didn't! So headed back to The Farmers Dog for one.
Didnt visit the toilets, but if they are anything like the Farmers Dog, and the other reviews, then they need serious attention. Really let the site down for the footfall, attention and money earned, iv seen nicer toilets at fairgrounds.
Shame no socials or websites advertise clearly that breakfast food is served until lunch. We had no idea even after I checked the website and socials for days prior to our visit. We ended up getting breakfast from Costa on the way there, and we missed out on the delicious looking breakfast barms! This could be made clearer for people visiting. We feel we missed out here! We did however have the Burgers from the Farmers Puppy (10/10).
The shop is very small with limited stock and you do feel pressured to quickly go round as people are always flowing through. The shop at the Farmers dog seems to have more variety.
Still, Im glad we did it finally, as we are massive fans of the show.
Both sites easily do-able on the same day within an hour or so of each other. Just not worth the 6hr round drive for us, hence the over night stay.

Squat Diddly to tempt me….
After a two‑hour road trip spent swerving around enough Oxfordshire potholes to qualify for a rally championship, I finally arrived at what can only be described as a deserted farm shop. The place was so empty I half‑expected tumbleweed to roll past the entrance.
Inside, the disappointment continued. No bread. No cow juice, the milk dispenser had given up on life. Fresh meat was limited to a lonely handful of smoked and unsmoked bacon rashers.
There were, however, some eggs, a few bottles of water, and a modest selection of crisps displayed directly beneath Jeremy’s Smelly Bollocks, a product name that raises more questions than it answers. Beyond that, the shelves were stacked to the rafters with Hawkstone lager and cider, as if preparing for an apocalypse where only alcohol survives.
The rest of the site was equally lonely. The car park was empty except for several Olympic‑sized puddles. The toilets? One word: disgusting. The kind of place that makes you reconsider every life choice that led you there.
The only saving grace, the staff were genuinely friendly. Which, frankly, made the whole experience feel even more surreal.

Disappointing
I ordered and received jars of picalilli and chilli jam. The picalilli was to be kind bland and I am not sure if the chilli jam had ever seen a chilli. I guess in future I will stick to brands I know.

The brillant customer care
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the customer service team, and especially to Sarah, who was extremely attentive, responsive in communication, and highly professional in handling the issues that arose with two of my orders.
Despite all the difficulties and the fact that the products were ultimately not received as expected, I will definitely place orders again, as the situations were resolved quickly and as satisfactorily as possible. I truly did not feel left alone with the problems and felt genuine care as a customer.
I would also like to note that the main issues firstly were related to logistics and delivery to France.
Bit of a mix up!
I ordered the oil set online, an absolute breeze to order. My parcel arrived and inside was a Diddly Squat t-shirt!? I emailed customer services they were very helpful in resolving the matter. I just hope the correct order gets here in time for Christmas.

Just put in my first online order …
Just put in my first online order and it was brilliant. Quality stuff cider packed really well. Very happy with speed of delivery and all to do with diddly squat. One day I will get to visit the shop.
Don’t care about customers
No point selling jumpers on your website without sizing guidance or washing instructions. Several requests requesting this information and I messaged you myself, no one bothers to respond. Clearly don’t care about their customers.

This is Great
This is Great. A small farm shop selling uk produce with Jeremys face and farm name on them. Love this guy, he is just a real outspoken man with a brain for making money. Worth a visit to say you have been there to help the farm ad make Jeremy richer.
I love this place
I went here and bought a Scotch egg, two beers and some chilli chutney, I can honestly say it was the best scotch egg. The beer was wet on the chutney was perfect. I’ve read through the reviews people saying it’s expensive these people should just stick to Aldi. I think I spent around £15 and would 100% of spent that on just the scotch egg as I had to fight two other builders off to get it LOL
A visit is absolutely essential
Having looked at the website we expected long queues and were prepared for them. We were pleasantly surprised we parked easily and only had to queue for 10 minutes to get into the shop. Although the shop is small and there were a lot of people inside, everybody was cheerful and nobody hurried us. The products were varied and were absolutely delicious. Another visit is absolutely essential.
Overly priced cheap trash!
I have just received an order via Evri.

I really must praise how quickly the order was turned around.
Larger companies could learn a trick or two from you.
Fantastic service Thank You 😍
If they taste as good as the service I will be very happy.
Ordered on line for Xmas presents
Ordered on line for Xmas presents, adding items to a hamper. So easy to order on line and the delivery was so fast. All items securely packed. We called into the shop in the summer but it was too busy to get around with my walking frame, we purchased the chilli mayo and the hamburger sauce which everyone loved. Will defo be ordering again.
Hmmm? Mixed review
Easy ordering system. Very good communication and fast delivery as standard. Packaged well and clearly with care. Sheep hat is beautiful. Was a gift but will keep it for myself now! Smoked chilli mayo absolutely delicious. Haven’t opened the Bee Juice bites or piccalilli yet but confident they’ll be just as good. Only complaint is the Goat tee shirt. Sizing ok but very poor quality Very thin material, almost see through, and poorly cut. Won’t be surprised if it disintegrates quickly. Very overpriced for the quality. Shame because my husband loved the design and gesture. Cannot be faffed to return so will put it down to experience. Must try the mustard next!
Great Products and Speedey Delivery
Recently placed orders have not only been sent out immediately but the produce has been of an amazing standard, so pleased to be able to share with family.
At least the name is right
Well the only impression I was left with is Didly squat, queues every were to get in to car park although a couple of surley looking parking assistants were doing their best, and to get into the shop (if you can call it that) a shed is more appropriate more queues. We waited patiantly in line as it crawled through the limited space crammed with overpriced items that very little people were buying, I had the feeling that most were mesmerised by the prices more than the merchandice and left empty handed, as we did. On exit I noticed the queues had grown longer. I visited the toilets they were as expected unpleasant to say the least but desperation makes it nessesary to use them. I fell for the hype and wish I had not, one visit and nill purchases from me.
Diddly squat is what I got
Diddly squat is exactly what I got, massive car park was rammed we walked over people were queuing around the car park to get in.
We didn’t stay to join the queue heard some people saying overpriced but I didn’t enter to find out
