Excellent Produce and Excellent Service

The product is excellent, easy to install, very functional and easy to operate. We now have our gates on a regular schedule to be open or closed at times that suit us.

As for the customer services this is first class, same day response to some questions I had and even had a call with my installer on a Sunday, to make sure everything went smoothly.

I would highly recommend DigiGate, I am delighted with my purchase.

Exceptional Long-Term Reliability and Brilliant Support

I have been using DigiGate for more than eight years on a gate and garage and it has been absolutely faultless throughout that time. Recently, I encountered an issue and emailed for support. The team at DigiGate were outstanding – they responded quickly, diagnosed the problem with ease and guided me through the reinstall with clear, expert advice.

Their customer service is genuinely first class. Even after all these years, they were just as helpful and committed as the day I bought the system. It is rare to find a company that stands behind its products so reliably and this experience only reinforced my confidence in DigiGate.

If you want a dependable system backed by exceptional support, I cannot recommend DigiGate highly enough.

We have been an independent installer…

We have been an independent installer of digiGate for several years, some of which have over 1000 dialer accounts installed, they work seamlessly. The support team pick up every time and offer every assistance, 1 unit was returned to base for repair after water damage and was offered at discounted price. they have been superb and will continue to use for any gate / door access systems.

Great customer support

I've been successfully using DigiGate for over a year without any problems. Whilst on holiday, I became aware our gates were not opening & closing - it turns out there had been a power cut in the village. I contacted DigiGate customer service and they were really helpful, responding immediately and providing relevant information to reboot the system

Excellent system and excellent support

We’ve been using DigiGate for a couple of years now; it’s a great system and we’ve never had any issues. After recently changing our Wi-Fi provider, however, DigiGate kept dropping out. I called them this morning and Tim provided excellent support. He updated our DigiGate software and it’s now working perfectly. Many thanks.

Of the solutions, DigiGate wins

I have had several DigiGate's for gates and garages and they have all worked flawlessly. They are not the cheapest on the market, although what you get is a great app, with the simplest and best user interface on the market. This shouldn't be underestimated as I have used gate systems from Intratone, ACS Edge and others and their user interfaces are painful to use every day.
Their user support is also great, any questions are answered very quickly and they are very helful. I'f highly recommend them

Planning approval thanks to DigiGate’s expertise

We had a complex planning application that included new driveway gates. DigiGate—and in particular Tim, their director—were exceptional from start to finish. They guided us through the technical requirements, produced clear documentation, and addressed every highway concern with practical, compliant solutions. Because of their support and the capabilities of their gate access systems, our application sailed through and planning consent was granted. Professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in the outcome. Highly recommended.

Excellent product and first class customer service.

Just installed a digiGate for my secondary home in France. Excellent product, which will enable me to control the gates when in residence and when away. It took a little while to get all of the features functioning well, but Customer Service has been faultless, with almost instant replies to questions and comments. A first class product and the company is a pleasure to deal with.

Fantastic product and service!

I’ve been using digiGate for a little while now and it’s brilliant. Setup was quick and easy, and I can open my gates from anywhere using the app, which makes life so much easier. Love the proximity feature too, the gates open as I pull up, completely hands-free.

Loads of smart features, and the support team are friendly and really helpful. It just works exactly as you’d hope. Highly recommend!

Extremley poor product and customert service

Extremley poor customer service, product not great and requires constant help from the manufacturer, this may be okay for a house not business purposes. I was also appaulled at their so called customer service agent "Tim" who tolkd me what do you want me to do about it ! stay clear of buying this brand, they a quick time sell and cannot back up their product with any help.
As for the reply...wow cmpletly different response to when dealing with thei person Tim ! please think twice beforfe using, this is not to tarniosh anyones business, they are most unhelpful and did not offer good us any help as he advised me " what is this got to do with me "

I’d like to take this opportunity to provide some context to the points you have made.

The company you work for purchased one of our systems 4 years ago. We helped setup the system end to end, and have since assisted both yourself and your colleague over the years with administering the system, both over the phone and countless emails.

We have provided free of charge extra services such as bulk editing user account settings, updating access control for every employee & generating report extracts to assist with your daily tasks as administrators. We considered this above and beyond and you have always been very grateful for the services we have provided.

After experiencing the first digiGate system, further down the line a secondary system was purchased for another gate and we once again assisted with the setup by copying all user accounts into the new one alongside further access reports as and when required. This saved you considerable time and again you have always expressed your gratitude.

Recently there was a query from yourself about the gate appearing to open by itself, and digiGate was wrongfully blamed. We immediately jumped on the case, analysed the access logs and informed you it was a certain user controlling the gate remotely. You did not accept this, so we then provided a detailed report of every activity from that day from the user account to clear up the confusion which took a considerable amount of our time. This was then accepted and you could report this within your company to be prevented in future.

You were subsequently advised to use the “nearby only control” feature included with every digiGate system to ensure your users could only operate the gate while on the site. We spoke on the phone multiple times and you were happy with the advice you were given. We even walked you through the setup steps in detail over a call to ensure it was going to work flawlessly for you. We recommended using a 400 metre radius to begin with and change if required.

Days later we then received a phone call from yourself and your colleague where you explained you didn’t understand and you wanted to reduce the control radius. You were told the radius you save is a business decision and the system will let you save anything you need even as low as 25 metres.
You both refused to accept this advice, stated you needed an answer immediately, and were informed again this is a business decision and the decision lies with you and what works best.

Shockingly you then questioned our support, queried who you were speaking with despite countless support calls over the years, and subsequently hung up the phone.

digiGate is a brilliant product for both residential and business use. Your digiGate systems both have around 700 user accounts on them and are used daily by staff without skipping a beat. I believe the fact a secondary one was purchased for another gate backs this up.

It’s a real shame years of going above and beyond helping you and your colleague manage your digiGate systems has resulted in a totally unfair review which we strongly disagree with. It is clear this is an attempt to tarnish our excellent reputation purely down to refusing to accept and understand the advice you were given on a new feature you were getting help setting up. It really is disappointing and quite a shock.

Despite this, we thank you again for taking the time to leave a review and would like to remind you we are always available for support and will continue assisting you as we have done over the years.

Fantastic product

Fantastic product, great support.
I have the wired Ethernet version and we love it. Share with family and friends so they can open gates when needed. GPS for proximity opening works well. Again great product, if you are getting automatic gates run and Ethernet cable and get this product.

WiFi boost & outstanding customer service.

I was looking to improve WiFi reception for my DigiGate at the top of my driveway which is over 70m from the outside Wifi AP. I found the 9dBi Long Range WiFi Antenna (Waterproof) on the DigiGate website. As my DigiGate was over 3 years old I contacted support to check compatibility and from that moment on I had a fantastic customer experience. Tim was so helpful and ensured my DigiGate received a new firmware update to support the aerial and he also shipped me a new power supply to support the voltage drop experienced due to the 2m aerial wire length. From placing the order through installation and setup, DigiGate have been there providing outstanding customer support for their product. I know of no other company that provides this level of support without charging!

I would highly recommend this product which has solved my issue as I now get 100% Wifi signal strength at my DigiGate and I would also highly recommend the company and their driveway gate and garage door opening products.

Simply an amazing company in this modern world. I've been using a digigate for roughly 3 years. From my first enquiry to support installing the device, upgrading antennas due to our property and now sorting out google integration I can't fault their customer service at all. You really can't get a better e2e gate solution.

I absolutely love this system

I absolutely love this system. I'm a wheelchair user and can't reach the screen to easily to operate the gates I've had installed. I also drive and this has enabled me to leave my property without assistance. I had a few tricky set up issues the first of which was due to my phone font size being to high so hiding a necessary "button" and the second was adding the app to a new phone and purely due to me seeing what I wanted to see not reading what was there on the phone. Both issues were dealt with swiftly, patiently and with good humour.
What would make it perfect for me would be if the app could access the intercom as well as the mechanics of the gate. This isn't enough to drop a star. I'm delighted.

A Great Addition

We were delighted to get our gates electrically controlled a year ago but found that there was some functionality we would like that our system could not provide. After learning more through the well-presented YouTube videos produced by Tim, digiGate appeared to be the answer although my wife wondered if it was worth the extra cost. Well we decided to go ahead, and installation could not have been easier under the guidance of Tim who quickly and clearly responded to any questions we had.
Well, one month on and my wife is now asking why we did not do this sooner! Having the ability to add other family members as users, setting the proximity setting and scheduling openings has given us so much more functionality. So much better recently to schedule an opening and neither of us had to get soaked by the heavy rain to set the keypad to hold the gates open, nor our visitor to get out of their car to use the keypad when they arrived.
There may be cheaper options available but you get what you pay for and digiGate is a great quality product with an app that is easy to navigate around and importantly too excellent customer support service. Well worth every penny!
