Ryan Rushes Too Often. Too Emotional
Went well until dear Ryan decided it was enough. I think he rushes his thinking a bit, forces his reactions, and leading a company that way can be disastrous. But then, I was the one who didn't get paid for about 70 hours of work, overtime included. Actual Date (month and year) of Experience is Feb, 2022.
Edited. Two things quickly. I made direct edits into the client's site with a team-password handed me during the onboarding process. I authored product descriptions which were fact-checked by me, reviewed by the SEO lead, and approved by Ryan, then went on to do an update (a simple copy and paste) on the client's website, a task assigned to me by Ryan. Nevertheless, a client's review whether bad or good should have reached my inbox- But it didn't. This is not how to treat a staff, any staff.
Once, Ryan informed me during the onboarding, that I would be contacted by his staff about payment. I was soon contacted by a kind lady who wanted us to work out the best payment option for me. I was to get back to her. After doing research, I reached her with details of my choice. I was shocked when Ryan accosted me for contacting her. That all correspondence was to be in the open chats, not in secret. I can't remember but I think we were using Skype. I was shocked at his outbursts and hurriedly pleaded my innocence. I later found out she was his fiancèe. This happened so early in the process. We brushed it off then as a misunderstanding and moved on.
