This was our first trip with Dimsum Reisen. We never had a tailored trip. We certainly liked it.
Since we didn’t know anything of Japan, except the most obvious, it was a very good option. They helped us planning a 3-week trip, seeing several parts of Japan. We went to some places we didn't imagine we would go. The team from Dimsum is very helpful, they explain you the options and help you to create a trip which can be done within your timeframe.
The hotels booked were (almost) all 3 star hotels. The hotels were conveniently located and all the rooms were around 20m2, so there was space to place your luggage. (Some of the hotels didn’t look like 3* hotels, but 4*).
The transport was perfect. All our reserved places were at a good location of the train, to see the view of the landscape.
We also appreciated it, that with un unexpected flight alteration it was very easy to adapt our original travel itinerary.

90 % of the trip was very excellent,

but bevor we started we hoped to get more individuell tips,advice.three of 11 accomodation where not as described...not clean enough mainly,in one hotel a window was not possible to open or there was no mosiktonet,the boattrip was good organized but the ship was not clean,dirty seats,tables .. the homestay in cochin was not nearly like that, rather than a commercial hotel.we stayed in munnar in one which was really a good one. Also should travellers told that the national park in periyar is a privat one ..only one road whith 50 cars in one hour. better to go not at the indian holiday time. Best food in bangalore and munnar mistletoe homestay, good quides in all places, a good taxidriver mureli
