Can't fault the car hire service

PIcked up from our hotel in Cagliari (no extra charge) and taken to the airport to start the car hire. Whilst they offered the extra insurance I declined as I had organised this in the UK. Took photos and videos of the car on collection and sent it to the company (as instructed) - we knew all the scratches etc. Returned to the airport and handed the car back (took a few more photos but probably not necessary). Overall, no problems at all.

beware: scammers

When I came to Olbia airport to pick up my car, the young lady at the reception immediately told me there was something wrong with my credit card. she pretended it wasn't recognized by their system as a credit card, but as a debit card (even though it's even mentionned on the card that it's acredit and not a debit card). she then asked me to dowload the contract and read the fine prints (debit cards are accepted in exchange of taking the company's daily insurance). she then made a long pseudo technical speech without going straight to the point by telling me what it meant. she just made a long speech to explain to me why the company can't rent me the car with the current conditions. I had to insist to know what she really wanted. I asked her to go straight to the point and to give me an amount. she wanted me to take my card back because in any case she understood I wouldn't take the car from them. shethen, she SHOUTED (yelled, screamed)at me and told me that I was the one who was stubborn. Her 2 bosses (colleagues) didn't say a word, but stayed next to her shortly before she started screaming. To me, this is a well worked and prepared scam and they wanted to make sure she forces me to pay the extra, which would have been 45 euro a day. I didn't give in, told the 20 y.o. girl that this is a scam and I finally went to another company to rent the car. the guy at the other company immediately told me that what Dynamica did to me is pure fraud because after verification....my credit card really was a credit card. It really spoiled my mood for the entire day. when you work hard and honestly the entire year to provide your family some good time, it's not to be scammed by a young lady who instead of working for a decent company decided to start her career by scamming people. This company should be closed. by the way, the website through which I booked the car indicated the company under another name (rental4leisure instead of the real name dynamica), which is already suspicious. I should have read reviews from other victims before booking a car from this company. It's a shame that I can't give 0 out of 5

SCAM COMPANY DO NOT PRERENT!!!! I pre purchased a rental car from this company via Rental4leisure and BSP auto online before my holiday started. I payed for additional insurance in advance. When I arrived to collect the car, I filled in all of their paperwork and showed them the paperwork that I had been emailed in advance. At this point they then said i needed to pay the full rental figure again, along with an additional 200 euros as a deposit. I pointed out that money had already been paid, I even showed them the payment going out of my bank account. The women behind the counter didn't care, she said it was just a piece of paper from a website, they hadn't been paid, and if I wanted a car I'd have to pay for it. I then called the number on my paperwork and sadly no one answered. At this point I then witnessed three Americans having exactly the same problem, despite them having paid up front, the women said she hadn't been paid and unless thy payment was made they wouldn't get a car! They left after 45 minutes without. We then spoke to her again, tried to show her her details on our contract, showed her the parts about payment, insurance etc, and she just wasn't interested. It was just a voucher, they hadn't been paid, and If we wanted a car we had to pay her for it!!

Everything was correct except for the…

Everything was correct except for the credit card, they didn't accept mine for being virtual and another customer next to me had another problem as his credit card needs to be as they want and if it hasn't the numbers and name visible they won’t accept it.

They don't say anything about that in their conditions and tried to manipulate me into believing it was writen somewhere when it wasn't.

Then they will make you wait 5 minutes and then tell you that you are lucky to be able to go through if you pay a 40€/day insurance. The joke is I already had paid an extra insurance but they didn't accept it.

If it wasn't enough, if you take some time to call customer support they will threaten to leave you without car if you take longer.

Stay away from Dinamic Rent

Whatever you do, avoid Target Rent DynamicRent in Sardinia at all times. They try to charge the most random costs and try to find faults in the car upon return. It was the most overpriced experience I have had. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Dinamica car rental at Elmas Airport

Dinamica car rental at Elmas Airport, Cagliari, June 24 2024, rented via Rentalcars.com subsidiary of Booking.com. Dinamica is the WORST company I have ever dealt with, the appalling customer service Emma's shameful, we purchased Full Protection insurance online via Rentalcars.com only to pressured in to purchasing a second policy on collection, they advised us the Full Protection was worthless and we had to purchase a second policy at a cost of £160 for 4 days. We expected a VW Golf but actually got a filthy, damaged and unroadworthy Fiat 500 with many faults. We have complained to Rentalcars.com, they have refunded the first policy amount £37 but accept no responsibility for the 'forced' purchase of the second policy basically washing their hands of any responsibility. Total rip off scam, steer clear of both.

Very disappointed

We are a couple who recently rented a car with DinamicRent in Olbia, Sardinia. Although the car was a recent and comfortable model, the service fell short of our expectations. The reservation was in my husband's name, and I couldn't use the credit card from our joint account, even though it had my name on it.

The company did not allow us to rent at the agreed price and forced us to pay four times more to start our vacation on the island. We tried to resolve the issue by presenting the necessary documents, but the employee was neither receptive nor interested in our satisfaction.

If you're undecided about which company to choose for renting a vehicle, do not choose DinamicRent. I will not be using their service again.

Sounds like an Insurance Scam

I booked a WW Golf and instead I got a Ford Puma (WW Golf is not in their car portfolio). Furthermore, they force me to buy an expensive (40 euros per day) casco insurance. If I did not, they would have not have rented me any cars as - I was told - it is too risky for them!

Same experience than reviewer before

Same experience than reviewer before. Additional insurance has been offered on top and we had been close to sign additional costs of 60 Euro per day. Explanation was, they can't see in their system our insurance status. Finally we found our insurance and declined.

We took over the Chinese Mini-SUV at 7pm in the dark within very quick hand over. While giving car back at daylight they have found many damages on top we are not responsible for and also cannot imagine where it comes from.

BTW: A VW Golf class has been confirmed by that company - totally not a Chinese Mini-SUV.

Plus tank was not full, even we had fueled the car 2 KM and 5 min before - how empty the tank can be after 5 min driving? I assume, the service fee of 30 Euro is an extra income for that company to higher their margin.

What can you expect for 22 Euro per day you might ask, but you know what, if I end up with 60 Euro after all costs on top I better rent a car at a known global car rental with good service quality, a save car and non criminal intention.

We are sitting there now with an open case of about 2000 Euro which might be covered by the insurance, but feel like trapped. Lets hope, the insurance is paying.

Worst company ever!

Worst company ever!
We booked over a 'broker'. The booking confirmation was clear about how much we have to pay at the desk. Also we payed for full insurance. Arriving there, they told us we have to pay more, and do not have the full insurance if we not pay 100 euro on top. The answer were all the time 'so you have to conatct your broker'. No service and absoluty unfriendly.
We will never book again a car from this company and we can not recommend it to anybody!!!

Awful company and awful service

Awful company, we rented a car for 3 days, we returned it spotless. There were never any carpets in the back, this is quite typical of many rental, they then accused us of ‘taking’ the rear carpets! Who on Earth wants to steal the rear carpets of a basic small Opel car!! Me, my and two children all confirmed the same, particularly my two teen boys who were in the back for the 3 days.
I asked the rental company for the evidence of there ever being any rear carpets, of course they had none.
Absolutely ridiculous. They were unhelpful, rude and intimidating. A disgrace, avoid these cowboys at all costs.
