Don't seem bothered
I contacted direct air conditioning on the 31st July via their website asking for a quote on a specific system. Within a few days I'd spoken to Keely and she arranged for someone to come and do a site survey, so far so good. Wayne arrived on the 25th August and went through everything and told me I'd get a quote in a few days. 2 weeks later no quote so I chased, but didn't get a response, so left it a while and then chased again, still nothing. That probably should have been the red flag, but I get everyone's busy so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I carried on chasing at regular intervals.
Eventually on the 11th October, 6 weeks after his visit, I received the quote from Wayne, not only was the quote missing key basic information (such as how many rooms the system was for), but his email was poorly written and had numerous spelling mistakes making it nearly incoherent and certainly not giving me reassurance this was a company I wanted to deal with. The price on the quote was also outrageous and over £3k more compared with quotes from another suppliers for the same system.
I contacted Wayne and pointed out this fact, and asked if anything could be done on the price, and he advised he'd need to speak to his MD. A week later I'd not heard so I chased only to be told that no they could not improve on the price.
Clearly this company doesn't want the work and how I wish I'd gone with my gut instead of wasting my time chasing them for the quote.
