DO NOT DO NOT use this company a bunch of rip-off cowboys brought bath panel from them two days later wanted more money for postage even though original invoice showed ide paid for postage panel arrived damaged so i contacted them they never got back to me had to take a dispute out with PayPal direct pick said they would refund cost if i posted it back which i did to the cost of 25 pounds to myself then they sent the bath panel back saying it was damaged of course it was damaged it arrived to me in the first place broken sent package back again had to contact PayPal again to resolve this matter direct pick are a total bunch of tossers

Sent someone’s luggage instead of my order

I ordered two beesom brooms and I accepted the package when it arrived. However I was utterly confused as what arrived was someone’s missing luggage…..I am baffled how this can happen. I contacted DirectPick who I thought would be equally embarrassed that we now have someone’s personal items and their travel luggage as opposed to our brooms and they would want to put this right.

Nearly 2 weeks have gone by now and DirectPick have shown no desire to resolve this situation quickly or even apologise. It has left me contacting airlines myself trying to return this poor persons luggage and without my order and no update on whether I will get a refund or replacement items sent. The only note I have had so far is “the delivery driver must have accidentally swapped the labels” and no response to my follow ups.

I did see some fairly poor reviews of DirectPick before placing my order, but I thought that brooms were a fairly simple order and something hard to mess up…..how this can be gotten so so wrong is beyond me….you can forgive the mix up to some extent…. but not the lack of follow up and poor customer service. Genuinely feel like I have been ripped off or part of some sort of scam. I have asked for a full refund but I am concerned I will need to take matters further in order to see the full return of my funds.

I purchased a garden broom/besom from…

I purchased a garden broom/besom from directpick. Paid sum requested (via PayPay) at checkout. Within a few hours I received an invoice via PayPal requesting a further settlement of £10.61 to cover delivery costs claiming I'd not paid the correct amount at checkout. I disputed this and demanded a full refund. I quoted the distance selling regulations and threatened use of the Ombudsman. hours.
I received the following response approx 5 hours later
Dear Customer 
It clearly tells you at checkout - which shipping you should select based on fast and product dimensions.

I also received a full refund via my PayPal account.

Avoid!!!

This firm is useless and I will never order anything from then again, my order never arrived after waiting 2 weeks and no communication from them so I E-mailed them 3 times before I even got a reply to which I was told 'it will be another week' after 2 weeks and 8e-mails later I finally got my money back! I wish I had read this page before I made the order.

i bought a guardsman broom with…

i bought a guardsman broom with handle,the handle hasn't arrived with the broom head.i can't get hold of the company by phone or email.not only that i have been charged twice.
In answer to reply.i do have proof as my bank tells me so on my statement.but i still have not recieved the broom handle to go with my broom head.
p.s.it's really strange how you simply cannot get hold of this company,but give them a bad review,and you get a reply straight away.although i have yet to find out where my broom handle is.

Paid for express delivery at £9 and…

Paid for express delivery at £9 and arrived 8 days later. Ordered things from other companies at the same time with free postage and arrived in 2 days.

Our apology but the product size was the factor that one company refused to take, and we have to ship with other comapny. However, You as a customer were lucky that we charge you only £7.59 half the price -the actual delivery price and if you have to reorder the same will now cost you £13.96 from our website and if others it will be higher.

Stay away from Direct Pick.

I bought an item from here and it didn't arrive. They hadn't paid the correct postage. They were very rude when I contacted them. They told me that if I didn't collect and pay for it (said they will refund) I would not get a full refund. Should have looked at all the other bad reviews, they're probably right about Directpick.

In reply to comments. My item should have been delivered to my door. It was held at the post office because DP did not put the correct value postage on it even though they charged me £4 for a small package. They tried to blackmail me into going to the post office and paying the fee to collect my item telling me that I would lose 20% plus a fee on a refund when the post office returned it to them as per the terms on their website. Thanks American Express for sorting out my refund. Hope your business goes from strength to strength.

I bought item and wanted to return it for refund as it is unsuitable for intended use. Sent 3 emails, first email was sent same day I received the item, 7 days ago, but company not replying nor answering the phone calls. I wish I had checked reviews on this website before buying anything from them. This is appalling customer service.

You have been sent the correct product. If you would like to return, then you will have to return the product back to us and you will have to pay for the return as per our policy.

Once we have received the product back, we will investigate and if its unopened then we will refund taking away the dispatch cost.

Didn’t get what I ordered it was…

Didn’t get what I ordered it was advertised 300 led curtain lights so I ordered 3 sets but I got 3 pieces of string lights with about 20 lights on . When I complained they had sent the wrong lights they said I had ordered sample lights which I hadn’t they offered me £2 in total refund it’s a joke I definitely would not order anything again
