Couldn’t recommend a better company to use for all your plumbing work . Everyone who works there are very friendly and polite and always do a perfect job . Boiler had an F75 fault code …
Boiler had an F75 fault code and wasn’t working. Called Direct Plumbing and they came out that day. Nice man came over and was very polite and friendly. Boiler sorted but I appreciated that he advised I’d be better to consider a new boiler as mine was over 20 years old. Reported to my landlord and now getting a new boiler. Thanks for a great service.

We are aware that we don't always give the advice our customers want to hear, but we do try and give the best advise for the customer, especially if the fault is renown for being recurrent. It wouldn't be ethical to repeatedly take money for s call out , when the problem could have been avoided.

C H E A T E R S, They changed for us a stove which costs 120 pounds from Argos and they charged us just under 600, to find out that it's not working. In another incident when I thought lets give them one more try as may be I was wrong last time, their engineer came for a simple boiler repair (300pounds), a day later and my tenant still needs to top ur its pressure to be able to use it.
Just as Stuart (the earlier reviewer) said, BE AWARE OF THEM!!!!

Apologies for not replying sooner.
Firstly, We need to acknowledge that at the time that this job was given to us, you were living overseas and you are/were the landlord of this property. The stove which you mention was purchased by yourself and was a dual fuel stove. We are Gas Safe only and therefore the services of an electrician was required and employed at their usual day rate upon your acceptance. The boiler was repaired initially but the "simple" repair was a lot more complex than originally reported. All works are always advised and authorised before we undertake any repairs beyond the price quoted. Also, the boiler in question was very old and it was advised that a new one would be a more efficient and the problem would likely reoccur on a boiler of this age.

I couldn’t recommend the team of direct plumbing enough,they’ve remained professional and approachable throughout my experience. I’ve used this company many of times and they specialise in so many aspects nothing is ever to much to ask. They got the jobs done quickly and explained everything very well. We'll use them for our all of our plumbing issues. Great job. The qualified gas engineer that was sent out was very informative and knowledgeable and answered everything we need to know. This company also do 24/7 call outs!

Direct Plumbing Solutions installed our new bathroom in June, and unfortunately, the experience hasn't been as smooth as we hoped. While they estimated the job to take less than two weeks, it ended up nearing a month. While we understand that project timelines can sometimes shift, more transparent communication about the delays would have been greatly appreciated.
Regrettably, just two months post-completion, we encountered a significant issue with the toilet leaking severely, to the point where it affected the ceiling of the room below. We made several attempts to reach them to address this urgent matter but have not received a response thus far. We now find ourselves in the position of needing to hire an emergency plumber to rectify this. We sincerely hope that Direct Plumbing Solutions will take responsibility and reimburse us for the additional costs incurred, including the paint for the affected ceiling.

The sub contractor who we employed in good faith to carry out this job unfortunately has not worked to our standards and we have been unable to contact him since to have even the most basic conversation as to what was done.
At this time, It was a Sunday morning and I was on paternity leave and we provided you with the number of the sub contractor (who at this time, I was not aware that they were uncontactable) our personnel was simply trying to get you the assistance needed as quickly as possible under the circumstances (mine and the time and day).
I will hold my hands up and say that whilst I understand the obvious panic a leak can cause, it remains unacceptable to use obscenities and towards myself or staff in any communication.
However, I have witnessed that despite the inappropriate message sent to the emergency mobile, we have still corresponded with you via email (13/09/2023 @15:14) and have yet to receive a reply. The offer to discuss this remains an open ended offer and you can contact us on 01143087300.

To read this is very upsetting as we are a business who genuinely do care.
Firstly, we are choosing not to detail our findings upon arrival and working in this property, as we refuse to embarrass the customer.
However, it IS important to comment that it was necessary to report this property as a public health emergency and we had to request hazmat suits for our engineers to enter to carry out the works.
Direct Plumbing Solutions Ltd were contacted and contracted by Social Services to attend this property on behalf of the customer, who I understand is your brother. We provided a full itemised quotation and this must be accepted and authorised by both Social Services and the customer.
We do not understand the statement that this property was left without a toilet as one of the items we replaced was the toilet (as the old one had to be removed for health and safety reasons).
Regarding the water supply, the property was in such disrepair that the leaks were irreparable unless it underwent full repiping and we were instructed by Social Services to isolate the supply, which we did.
As for £1800 charged, this was paid in full upon receipt of the invoice from the quotation supplied to Social Services and agreed and authorised by Social Services and the customer.
We empathise with this situation and understand that it will have been exasperated by you not living within close proximity to your brother and we sincerely hope that OUR actions highlighted and helped improve the living conditions expected and we also hope that Social Services also received the same review.
