Incredible service

I can't speak highly enough about Direct Sight. Glasses were delivered promptly and to specification and when I utilised the guarantee so as to replace the lens, the service from Maria, despite me sending them the wrong glasses was brilliant - Thanks again Maria and Direct Sight

No glasses delivered

Still waiting for my husbands glasses. Zoe is very nice but have been waiting a considerable time now. They should not use Royal Mail as a carrier, they are the worst delivery company.
Not sure how long we have to wait.
Not good enough.

The fastest and most professional on line spectacle provider ever

The fastest and most professional service on line , great quality glasses and superb customer service from Zoe and the guys and girls in the lab , I had an exam looming , I lost my specs on the 11th Nov 7 days before my exam went on line and via the simple ordering process ordered, some none standard specs at 14.00 that day and had them delivered in 5 working days ready for my exam … well done Zoe and the team you are absolute stars great work

Being told be with you soon new glasses I paid an extra £19 for next day delivery still no glasses . I have a terminal illness leukaemia and they seem to not to care .They said i paid for reading glasses of this was the case why didn't they come the next day delivery? I ordered varifocals but they sent me my order and highlighted readind glasses which they put on. I sent my prescription and was verified I have been very patient with this company. Stay clear from them no reply from last email and still no glasses disgusting behaviour. They charged me £19.99 next day delivery no refund only cost them £9.95 to send glasses that were altered only prescription disgusting company . I also dont believe these reviews from other people are genuine.

Amazing customer service- thank you Zoe!

I rang customer service before placing my order and was immediately put through to a lovely lady named Zoe. She expertly advised me on the best glasses and clip-on sunglasses for my needs, and even noted to the technicians to tighten the frames for extra security, just as I requested. Her description of the glasses was superb (it turned out she was wearing the exact same pair I was asking about!), and when they arrived, they were perfect. After that call, I completely disregarded several other "next-day glasses" companies. Zoe’s service was the deciding factor - shall be ordering from directsight again!

Great products but poor customer journey map

The finished products were superb, can’t be faulted.
There were a few issues on the customer journey map that could be improved.
On the confirmation email they said the order would be dispatched in 5 working days. Later revised it to 10 working days. I phoned as on day 10 they showed as still in production and was promised despatch in 11 working days. They were finally despatched in 12 and 13 working days. It seems to me pointless contacting Customer Service they always promise but don’t keep to it. The invoice doesn’t get emailed, can’t be downloaded and doesn’t come with the package. I am pretty sure providing an invoice is a legal requirement.
The delivery of the order was to be tracked, but this doesn’t help the customer as they don’t provide tracking numbers.
On both despatch notes the order date and the despatch date are the same, so it strikes me someone is fiddling the stats.
Summary - great products, but the order goes into a big production black hole, you don’t really know when it will come until it plops through your letter box.

Many customers do receive their order within the quoted delivery timeline, however the RM Network can occur delays in transit and at the depot/sorting offices.

Glasses needs urgently and class A service

My son broke his glasses and needed urgently. Googled next day delivery glasses, a few other sites said no due to prescription. However direct site was easy. I ordered late thursday night and by 9.15am on Saturday morning they arrived. I also did an error on my ordered and received an email back from Maria how got everything sorted for me. Class A service. In a world where the human touch and customer service can be challenging its important to recognise good service. Will be using for all my future needs.

Don’t ask for a refund!!!!

I returned the glasses as they were faulty and one lens was more out of focus than my old glasses. I was then told I will only be refunded the price of the frames and delivery. The majority of the costs is in the lenses. They would only put this part of the refund as a credit for future purchases. Like I am going to do that !!!!

To ensure complete accuracy when reviewing the lenses and prescription details supplied, we’ve asked for a little more information from you - specifically confirmation of the prescription date and your pupillary distance (PD). This will help us identify whether the issue relates to the prescription or the manufacturing of the lenses.

As explained, our lenses are made bespoke to each order and are therefore non-refundable unless a fault is confirmed. Should our Lab identify any fault in the lenses, you will of course be entitled to a full refund.

Good Customer Service

I asked questions prior to ordering and they were immediately answered. The prices are reasonable. One of the two items I ordered had a problem, introduced on their end. I pointed it out and it was immediately and cheerfully corrected, including refunding my postage charge to re-return the item. Overall I am happy with the service and the Customer Service and would use this company again.

Amazing service

Amazing service. Quarter of the price of the high street opticians. I found the service to be very quick.
I'm over the moon with my new glasses. They fit perfectly and the vision is perfect. I was a bit hesitant because I have varifocals but I am delighted with them. I would highly recommend this company.

'Next-day' = 'Next-week, maybe?'

After paying for express, next day delivery, and having confirmation on email of a dispatch date; ordered on the 6th, confirmed dispatch of the 8th (yes, delivery est. for 3 days later).. I contacted on the 9th, to be informed they're 'likely' to be dispatched on the 12th..
I get there's a small-print that say's 'may take longer', but charging someone £20 to then get 'if', 'but' & 'maybe', is poor! To then not get a refund, but a cold and blunt (clearly copied and pasted) response - is just poor.

Your order was placed on Saturday 6th September, outside of our working hours, with production scheduled to begin on Monday 8th September. To help speed things along, our Team generously processed your order on Sunday evening, out of hours, so it was ready for production first thing Monday morning.

As outlined in our Express Terms & Conditions, some prescriptions fall outside of the Next Day Express range. In these cases, the order is still prioritised through the lab and dispatched on express delivery once complete. Your order is following this process and remains on track for dispatch on Thursday, as advised.

If you would prefer to remove the express upgrade, we can certainly arrange a refund of £14.05 and move your order back into standard production and delivery timescales. Please kindly let us know on your existing email thread if you would like to proceed with this option.

"I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment. The order was dispatched yesterday, 8th September on the 48 hour tracked service as paid for. Your glasses should be scheduled to arrive with you tomorrow - I will look to obtain your tracking details tomorrow on return to the office and forward that across for you. Please note that Transition Lenses have an estimated production time of 7-10 working days."

Great Company!

I'm a contact lens user but needed some glasses as I was going on holiday and had recently broken my glasses (which I wear when not wearing my contacts), I spoke to several companies who advertise inexpensive products and quick delivery but they were unable to help me due to my prescription not being suitable and was quoted quite a long delivery time. I spoke to Direct Sight - what a difference! I submitted my prescription to Maria who confirmed they could supply on a next day delivery and also made recommendations. I reflected and placed an order the following day with Zoe. Both girls were great - very polite, friendly and professional. They couldn't have been more helpful. On placing the order I had an email within an hour telling me the glasses were being despatched and they arrived at 9.30 the following morning! Well done Maria and Zoe, it was an absolute pleasure to deal with you.
