DBL is a shady leech of a site

DBL is a shady leech of a site. It literally offers NOTHING to its users. The site is full of ads, extremely slow when setting a bot up and for users who just vote on bots it's the worst; they're just trying to shove as many ads down your throat as possible which makes everything slow and laggy. Pathetic. I'll be so happy when discord sets up their own server member tiers so sites like DBL/top.gg will go away and die.

Slow and unreliable listing service.

1. They are slow, it takes literally months to get a single bot to the review stage, almost a thousand of bots in the queue and its only growing.
2. The moderation bots they use automatically ban or kick people for literally a small thing they do wrong.
3. They ban people for literally fake edited screenshots from a random person, someone reported me with a edited screenshot of our dms and got me banned.
4. They remove bots from the queue for no real reason, just because they want to.
5. Their appeals are also slow, I got banned 3 times and each appeal took at least 2 days

I literally was unable to get any of my bots on the list, as I was randomly banned by mod bots and staff for a fake screenshot someone made up in 10 minutes. I don't even want to appeal anymore.

Slow

Slow, Added my bot to it a while back and it didn't even get reviewed for around 4 months..we left the discord & deleted the bot 2 weeks after submitting it and not hearing anything lol, then got a message after 4 months saying they reviewed it and denied it to which we obviously didn't care about anyway.

Deleted my bot because ONE of my devs wasn't in their server? Hm, I mean its bad enough forcing everyone to join your discord just to get the bot active but turning down bots because one dev isn't in there? What if he doesn't want to be? You don't control what servers we join. They finally reviewed our bot like 4 months later saying its denied and removed it, didn't they click on we already removed the bot and left their server months ago? and from my discord reply i think i was pretty clear.

Looks like the owners are mad :(reporting my review aw, like i care, this review doesn't breach anything sooo dream on, if you're going to 5 star review your own site atleast don't make it obvious.

Lol trying to justify it, maybe you're in la la land but not me, nobody controls what servers i'm in and same for developers, you turn down bots because not every single developer is in your discord server? are you that desperate for discord members? "smooth" i literally have the whole process recorded and same for your 4 month reply telling me you finally reviewed and denied it....quick & smooth indeed. "Do checks on your bot" thats why most on there at the time was offline? one i invited hadn't been updated for days and they broke the code so no commands worked? LOL ok.

Awesome bot listing platform

Awesome bot listing platform. Unlike some people's claims (like the person who complained that they got their bot deleted for not having owners in the server), you do normally get a smooth verification process. Whilst yes, verification is a tad on the slow side, they do literally have (at the time of writing) almost 180 bots to review, and not enough people to do it, but that will not dock any stars. Verification, once they get round to your bot, is normally really fast. They do some quick checks on your bot just to make sure it's up to standard (e.g. making sure your commands work) and making sure it does what it says it does. People who don't read the information on the Discord server don't understand how it works, and complain.

Also, this is the original bot list and it, of course, came first. Nothing beats it.
