Delisting my server due to spam

I've started quite recently my server for Spanish learners on Discord and listed my server on different discord server lists website. Since I got some traction I wanted to improve that by trying out the paid version from different sites.
From the experience I made discords.com has the most expensive and worst results I got. I bought the advanced subscription for $29.99. My expectations were rather low and I didn't expect to get thousands of joins but if I would've gotten 20 or so it would've already been worth it.
In total I got 3 joins. Now that sounds good until you realize that those 3 joins were people (maybe even bots) who just joined and never did anything. Not even completing the onboarding. But you can't judge the results since this can depend on your sever obviously.
Why this review is so negative is that the site went down for a day and after that all I got was spam users who wanted to sell weird sexual content and spammed the whole server full with it. This can always happen I guess (even though it didn't before) but I got now multiple ones within 2 days. And they're all coming from discords.com.
So the conclusion is that I will not continue using the paid subscription and I'll delist my server to protect it from spam. There are other sites out there who provide a better experience and results, not mentioning the lower price;)

Doesn't deliver what was promised, figures are an outright lie, can't cancel through the website

I paid for the premium bot listing service.

The page for premium bot listing says you can expect 200,000+ impressions per month. Assuming that this means front page impressions, this means you can expect that every day, your bot is shown to 6666 people. You'd expect a fair number of those to click your page, lets assume the industry average of 3% CTR. You get nothing like this. Suspecting that they were lying about the figures i have measured it using impression tracking in my remote images on my bot page. Over a 24 hour period, my page received a total of three views and one of these was my own when adding the tracking. This is a grand total of 0.045% CTR!

Bots have been shunted onto a back page of the site and their priority is now servers, so its no wonder they dont get anywhere near the 200,000 they claim.
I'll be adding this to my report into the effectiveness of bot growth/advertising services which I will be making publically available to all bot developers who want to read it.

My expected CTR of 3% comes from the averages seen on top.gg and discordbotlist.com, discords.com's nearest competitors, who can eliver this and some growth without any problem.

Not to mention, their entire front page for bots is crammed full of porn bots, hentai bots, nsfw content. If you havent made any NSFW content, you won't fit in. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Also: there is no cancel option on the page. It turns out you have to follow a link in the email, but the email was so slow to arrive by the time i received it, i had already spoken to staff to change me to non-renewing.

LMFAO do NOT buy the "Premium"

LMFAO do NOT buy the "Premium" - it's a scam!
I bought the 15$ dollar server booster which is supposed to give me an average of 1700 new members/month, but I can safely say, I got absolutely ZERO new members and the staff refused to help me nor refund me even after blatantly lying to my face. They suggested "oh just make the page look better" and "vote on it more" but my o my that will NOT get me any more members.

This sh!t is useless unless you get master probably, but who spends 30$ for that? Seriously guys... Sort your sh!t.

What a tragic experience.

It's a scam

It's a scam, they indicate a very exaggerated average number of participants who will come to you for purchasing a premium. In fact, instead of the indicated 2000+ members, you will receive 100 times less (if you're lucky). And admins justify themselves with messages like “Well, then your server is not very interesting” or something similar

Previous buyer

This is basically a scam site.

The website presents you with a very misleading "average" of 3000 members per month with their premium with "92% customer satisfaction", when in most cases you will probably gain 50 or less, even with great tags, constant voting and a popular server.

No other listing service I've used makes claims like this or even brings up their so-called "averages" and "user satisfaction" in the first place, let alone being so unscrupulous and dubious about it and when you complain (rightfully) about their service they gaslight you.

The rotation system also makes no sense and seems random. You will find random irrelevant servers mixed in with and often higher placed than highly relevant results which makes it harder for users to actually find what servers they're looking for. On top of that they snatch emojis from servers by default which at times includes copyrighted and NSFW material rather than only allowing users to upload emojis.

So in short

1: They are scammers and I don't say that lightly.
2: The search-tag system is basically dysfunctional.
3: They take emojis without user consent.

Absolute Scam. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

This is by far the worst service you can get. False advertising leading those to pay $30.00/month thinking they’ll get 3000+ members. I tried it for 1 month and got less than 100 members from this, and most of them don't speak, leading me to believe they are bots. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this platform. Even for free services, because they will steal user data, and your emojis (a big issue if you have your own copyright protection on emojis). They make money off of us and the most unethical way it’s appalling. They’re are other things about this server that another reviewer wrote. I suggest you check it out to get the full scope of things.
Just scroll down.

Terrible, do not purchase

First of all, for the 29.99 premium, you get about 200 new members, not the ‘3000’ they advertise, also, i have been unable to cancel my subscription for the past 2 months, i have contacted there support and they haven’t cancelled it, so have had to go through my bank to put a block on it.

The 4/5 star reviews are from Discords.com employees.

*TL:DR: Classed as fraudulent/dangerous to staff and customers.

Don't listen to a single thing that the 4/5 star reviews say. It's just them trying to boost the numbers on here, they did it on their customer testimonials (Every single one is an employee/ex-employee of Discords.com that wrote those).

Discords.com not only benefits from harassing their competitors but also forcing it's users to join their server to keep the numbers up.

Adding your server to their list will automatically opt you into uploading emoji and stickers even if it's copyrighted content. All of those emoji aren't user submitted it's service submitted by the DS.ME bot automatically. It's essentially shovel emoji from servers who may of forgot to disable the automatic opted in emoji upload.

Every single server posted will essentially see a total of 1.30-0.20% of the time (If they paid) on the front page, It's all about the money and they implemented the activity tracker to only keep track of non paid servers as quoted by the owner "If they don't pay then they don't deserve to be listed".

It doesn't matter how much you give with the Basic or Advanced plan. It all runs with the same level of advertising swapping, making the 3000 member gain average less than 0.09-0.03% in reality (Edit: Upvotes do nothing to have your server bumped up. It's a random chance on a timer), unless you post an NSFW server as the owner has stated "that it's the internet and the NSFW servers are king", not sure if they actively bump up those types of servers but they sure do promote them harder for that reason.

They don't provide refunds and will just run off with your money.

Furthermore from an ex-employee standpoint, they have all the moderators including trial moderators handle every ticket including legal ones and it's generally accepted as okay (By management) to just do what the customer says even if it's legally questionable. (Except refunds)

They also don't pay anyone but developers, even those who make designs and it's usually just 50 cents every 3-6 months for one of the designers. So AVOID THEM AT ALL COST LITERALLY. You will have better luck with a free alternative. You will do much better than these people especially when they're making a linktree clone to bring in more money.

The owner is trying to cash in and run off with the money while underpaying his staff.

*Side note: This review is also a customer perspective as well as an ex-employee perspective.

*PS: Some of their staff are under the age of 18, on a site that clearly states (In the terms of service, which I also corrected when I worked for them, relating to the refund policy) it's for those 18 and over.

While also distributing content considered as not safe for anyone under the age of 18 without any warning or block out for the images on a server, emoji, etc. (You can easily confirm the age of the users by simply looking at the Bio page or just looking at their member list in their support server.)

Which in my eyes is a federal crime.

(I will say that they are known to harass those who leave negative reviews if they directly know who it is. I will update here if they do.)

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS…

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS SERVICE.
I test these services for a living I made 7 different discords ranging from popular gaming servers to public figures, paid for premium (average 3k members per month) and after 3 months not one member joined any of the 7 servers made. Each server was upvoted every 6 hours by myself or a member of my staff in the hopes that the more upvotes the more people would see them and this does not work. This is a scam and you will only end up giving money away for false hope

Poor Management

Personally, I believe whoever was handling the ticket was inexperienced and not professional enough, my ticket was about partnering with the whole service, and apparently, I was getting the response from staff, not a manager or someone who does know better.
