This Company has gone bust been chasing money from them since July
Rung Ashley the owner today he informed me they have closed down in June 23
That is funny on his face book page he is still advertising a crook beware do not buy from them

Excellent company for great products and service, had a small problem with delivery but they were in the process of moving to new premises at time of ordering, previous orders delivered on time.
Good to have a great local business

Just taken delivery of bags of crushed concrete and aqua flow. Great service throughout. The delivery driver was especially helpful and went to great lengths to make things as easy as possible for us. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thanks Steve Smith.

AVOID!! DO NOT WORK HERE

I worked for them as a machine worker, a job they advertised for £25k when I was a yard worker there but when I went for the job they offered me 19k still!!!
and I had to tell them it’s not min wage for me anyway they need to up it (had already been told more then once)
they upped it to 21k so was literally on £9.50 an hour under PAYE , and they boasted about the benefits of holiday pay, sick pay etc etc

I was told would go up when trained, which I am more so then anyone else there expect maybe the owner
but they constantly make excuses why not sorted tickeds out when comes down to owner being greedy

Never mind I’ve given up my only 2 Saturdays on some months to help Ashley Barlow with his own garden with no real appreciation or pay that’s fair for hours worked. But I like to help out

Then i was sick for 3 days , guess what no sick pay

I moved to self employment and expected my hourly rate raised slightly to cover my own sick days and holidays, but nope still £9.50 an hour
No p45 and the weeks pay they held back from me plus 14.5 hours holiday pay accrued did not appear.

I’ve chased the holiday pay to be told I’m not getting it as I’m let off hours here and there, despite me working for free half hour
every morning and not being allowed a full 20 min break unless I actually leave the site as I get asked to complete tasks still.

HMRC are aware and now ACAS

Moving to today, I’ve had family issues all week and was giving until Friday by them to let them know if coming back
I said I was and invoiced them again for the week they held back for me and got told basically not to come back and not owed anything as I’ve not given notice

Firstly I’m self employed I don’t have too, secondly I was given written notice I have until today, I contact within that time to be sacked effectively but told I’m not being paid for hours I’ve already worked 🤔

This is ontop of the fact they have no health and safety etiquette at all!

Have saved all the texts and emails from them as they think they can get away with this sort of thing all the time, staff turnover there is ridiculous and these are just a small list of reasons why

Won’t even get into the burger van he was paying staff under the table for working there and under min wage. Same burger van that is closed again as he accused 2 separate staff members of stealing despite it not being possible with stock take, and also using one members long term sickness against them.

I will be getting paid the week work I’m owed and everyone will know why they should avoid this place at all costs

Where do I start...? Was going to buy from B&Q and saw that these were more local so thought I would support a local business. They were the same price so nothing to gain. Ordered online and didn't hear anything so called up to be told that they weren't in stock even though they were on the website. One VERY long story short I have had 9 phone calls and over a few weeks wait and have only just been assured they are on their way.....so frustrating!

Had ordered too much spoke to company to change my order was very helpful and accommodating will def recommend and use again

I have used D.L.S. over the past three years for all my fencing needs; panels ( 3 foot and 6 foot ), concrete post and gravel boards, post-crete, etc, also ballast, cement, and pea shingle.
Their deliveries have always been quick and on time and their prices are always very competitive.
The lads in the depot and the delivery drivers are so helpful and have given me lots of useful advice over the years for which I am very grateful. I would certainly recommend them, which I have done on lots of occasions.

All items are well priced. Most cheaper than other suppliers. Delivery guy was perfect, went above and beyond. Fence panels are brilliant and excellent value. Aggregates are also well priced. Only issue I would have is the concrete fence posts they make themselves. Do the job, well priced but a bit rough in places

I placed an order online on a Sunday & got a phone call on Monday morning as there was a supply issue with the quantity I needed. I went to see the guys that morning & they were very helpful in finding an alternative product which was in stock.
Excellent service, speedy delivery & great quality granite slabs.
