NEVER AGAIN

Paid for express shipping, order didn't come. called them, took them 30 minutes to answer, no refund on express shipping, claimed it arrived and that I need to take it up with UPS then HUNG UP IN MY FACE!!!! never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. I am a repeat customer that bought a couple of white leotards in various styles. My daughter has a long torso so fit is often an issue. They arrived, my daughter tried the 3 leotards on (with undergarments on), she chose one and I packaged the 2 leotards that did not fit (too big) in the original packaging (tags on of course) and returned them at UPS for a $6.95 fee. Days later, ONE of the leotards was returned to me (the more expensive of the two) wrapped in a white sheet of paper claiming it cannot be returned bc it was worn and/or washed. The leotard is perfect. Clean. Unworn other than to quickly try on and certainly not washed. They won't provide any other info when I requested the return be looked at again and refused to refund the money. I will never buy from them again. There are numerous online companies out there. Go where you will be treated right and they will stand behind their return policy.

Lies

Discount Dance claims it allows returns, but refuses return items at will and claims that they were final sale. I checked the site's return policy TWICE as well as the size chart before purchasing a single item that was not marked final sale nor clearance. The order was not marked final sale at purchase, nor was the order confirmation marked final sale. When the shoes didn't fit because the size chart wasn't true, I went back to the site, generated a return and a return label, walked the package all the way to a pickup location and sent them back.
Then customer service lied and said the shoes were final sale and were marked final sale at and refused to even offer an exchange or store credit.
Don't bother. Items are overpriced and they'll refuse to refund or replace them.

Great selection and easy to buy

I was able to easily find what I was looking for and checkout. The order arrived pretty quickly too, I wish they didn't charge for shipping but they do show a free shipping code on their site that I was able to use so I guess it's fine. The leotard was great too!

Don't order unless you are 100% sure of size

I ordered dance tights (boys tights/leggings) and canvas ballet slippers, and the sizing guide for both the tights and the shoes was very complicated to use. I expected to be able to return the leggings if the tags were still attached and in package and they hadn't been worn. The customer service rep told me I would be able to. However, when I went back to my account to begin the process, they had been marked as non-returnable. I will not be ordering from here again. It is too unpredictable to get the correct size and the customer service is not helpful. I'm now paying double shipping, and ending up with a brand new, unused pair of leggings that I can't return.

Great Customer Service

I had ordered some shoes, but they were the wrong size so I had to return them. I had an issue with the return, but I contacted Discount Dance Customer Service, and they resolved the issue immediately. They were great!

Worst customer service ever!

First off let me start out saying I have ordered from this company for years! I have been a loyal customer and recommended all my fellow dance moms to this site for the past 12 years. Last week however I placed an order and for whatever reason the system defaulted my shipping address to my old address that I had when 12 years ago when I placed my first order. I didn't even realize they still had that address on file! When I received confirmation of my order it didn't show the shipping address, it only showed my order # with a message stating the items would ship the next day from their Pennsylvania warehouse. Had they put my shipping address on that confirmation I would have spotted it in time to call or cancel the order. The next day I received the shipping confirmation with my old address listed, by that time it was too late to stop it, bc it had already shipped and their customer service department is conveniently closed on the weekends. I called and let the company know that it was shipped to the old address. They claim that bc it was a customer error and not an error on their end, they could do nothing to help me. Nothing! I told them surely items are delivered to the wrong address all the time, and they must be insured to protect against that, where I was once again told that because I was at fault, they would do nothing to fix situation. I have never dealt with such awful customer service in my whole life. I will NEVER order from them again. To anyone who does, be sure you double check your shipping address, bc it can default to a previous address during checkout and you will be screwed out of your money and told it's your fault.

Check you bill! They chargesd me twice for the same shipment and took away the discount I had!

Incredibly bad service. I was charged twice for shipment on an order that they decided to split in two; I had applied a coupon and then I noticed on my statement that although I could see it applied on my total I was going to pay for the full price. I had to call them twice to have it fixed and lose an hour overall to get my money back. Simply ridiculous.
