As a teaching assistant working with international students, I’ve been consistently impressed by Discovery Summer’s exceptional program. The dedicated teachers demonstrate remarkable patience and adaptability, creating a supportive environment where students thrive academically while building confidence in English.

The airport transfer service provides invaluable peace of mind – every detail is meticulously organized, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures. Beyond the classroom, the well-curated activities and museum visits offer perfect cultural immersion, blending education with fun.

What stands out most is how the staff tailors the experience to each child’s needs. I’ve watched shy students blossom here, thanks to the nurturing atmosphere. A truly outstanding program that I recommend wholeheartedly to colleagues and parents alike!

I and my 10-year-old daughter have been attending on-line lessons with Discovery Summer for more than a year by now. We first planned to go to study at one of their centres in the UK but for some reasons were not able to go, so we decided to try on-line learning. I had never trusted on-line study mode, particularly for my young daughter. However, when we started lessons with Kathy, we got absolutely engrossed in communicating with her even though our command of English was quite poor at that time. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed and somehow encouraged us to use the language even when we did not seem to be able to. She is a brilliant teacher and is able to deliver learning material in the best possible way, even for beginners as we were. Now I can definitely see our progress. The services provided by the other school staff - those who have been arranging and organizing the process - are also of the highest standard. Their communication was very timely, precise and respectful. All in all, I would highly recommend the school. I hope to be able to continue our study process further and we both - my daughter and I - are dreaming of being able to go to study at one of their centres as soon as possible.

My 14-year-old son (Bartek) had a summer of his life.
From a parent's perspective, these were the most important elements that contributed to the success of the course: varied and rich academic and social programmes, variety of international students, student hosts, dedicated academic and social teams, great and dedicated senior staff, fantastic premises. Since the end of the summer course, he has been in constant touch with his new friends from other countries, including some of the English student hosts.

I recently enrolled my daughter in Discovery Summer, and I couldn't be more pleased with our experience! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. This is my second review as my child visited Marymount this summer too. Just wanted to say that the course was really excellent again. She had a lot of fun, made new friends, her English improved and she did an another level of Trinity GESE exam and is eager to go again next summer. She also grew socially and gained confidence. Marymount is probably the best place to send your child for a language course. It truly is multinational and their level of taking care of the children is unique. Many companies promise the world in their marketing but if you read the British Council reports things are not quite what they tell you. This is not the case with DS Marymount. They really deliver what they promise in their marketing and so are very trustworthy which is very important especially as it is to do with your young child.

My daughter enjoyed her two weeks of morning courses at Collingham. She liked a lot the museum visits. She has gained confidence in English practice.

Discovery Summer gives top quality English tuition in a wonderful environment where young students are always supervised by the staff. English classes, workshops, activities, trips are the key of a valuable and unforgettable holiday my children - aged 11 and 13 - really loved.

My 3 children have been participating enthusiastically for 7 years in the summer camp discoverysummer. since each of them was 9 years old and for at least 2 weeks, they attend courses suitable for their age group and tastes. this is an excellent investment for their growth and it is a great satisfaction for us to see the progress made in English in such a short time! the organization of lessons, activities and excursions make every year their experience unforgettable!

I spent two weeks in Radley last summer. I starded to study English in 2023 so when I got there I was very afraid of how this will look like with nearly zero English knowledge. But after a few days I realized there's nothing to be afraid of. The people was very kind and helpful. The teachers, the activity leaders and the student hosts as well. I never heard a bad word from anyone while I was there. I really enjoyed the classes and the programmes especially the excursions on Thursdays and Sundays. And one of the best part of all of these that they spoke to you in English all the time so a little British accent can stick to you as well. I always look back on these two weeks with smile on my face. Perhaps this was the best two weeks of my life.

I have been having lessons with Leo since 2021.
I am still going on because I feel my English has improved a lot.
I really like how lessons are structured and I never get bored during our 45 minutes.

The experience was great because of the quality and friendliness of the teacher, the willingness of all the staff both administrative and teaching (for example sometimes we had to change the day or the time of the lesson, we could easily manage the needs). We had one-to-one lessons: the teaching was personalized and tailor-made, all the material was provided each lesson by the teacher with the result of a great and interesting experience for all. Recommended!

The first time I send my daughter to a summer school experience to improve her English was 10 years ago ...since then every year one/two of my 3 kids joined different summer school centers all over England organized by Discovery Summer..
I am very happy with the organization of Discovery Summer, they are real professionals, perfect from the arrival at the airport, school day organization & leisure activities to the end of summer report - written carefully with lots of personal statements on the kids.
My kids always came back home having made new friends, a lot of wonderful experiences , better english skills and the prayer to go back to the Discovery Summer Schools the next year.
I can 100% reccommend this summer school !!!
