Long term customers. Good product when installed by professionals

I had Thermaskirt installed in my home back in 2015, and I can confidently say it's one of the best decisions I've ever made to upgrade my heating system. I wanted to eliminate traditional radiators and have something similar to underfloor heating. Thermaskirt has exceeded my expectations.
This fantastic product has been running without any issues since the installation, providing consistent and efficient heat throughout my home. It looks sleek and modern, seamlessly blending into my interior design, which is a huge bonus!
Recently, I had my patio doors widened and replaced, and I needed to get in touch with DiscreteHeat for some new parts…

Installed water heated skirting in 2012. Absolutely trouble free in all this time. My wife is retired so they're on daily except the short season call British summer. Decorating recently and needed to replace a corner cover. Delighted to find that the products are still available. Excellent service in quickly identifying the part.

I first had Thermaskirt installed 8yrs ago. The system is still in use in our home (bedrooms and family rooms) and working very well. More than that the service and followup by Discrete heat has been great. During the last 8years the have still remained responsive to my questions, provided me answers that were useful and when it was necessary come out for maintenance. I recently re-ordered some decorative parts from them and was glad to find the still had them in stock. Great product, great communication and great service. Thanks guys!

From the beginning to the end , the service was great. Admin team was willing to solve any problems and the fitters were polite, quick and clean.

I bought this system in 2018 , since then it has been working like a clock. Not only does it look good but it is a brilliant system which many of my friends admire too.

The only reason I am writing this view now in 2024 is I managed to break one of the valves and contacted them again . As usual , they were quick to answer my query with a lovely gesture.

I have had a thermaskirt heating system for about 7years, installed in Melbourne, Australia. I required some spare parts and send an enquiry to DiscreteHeat UK and Martin replied over the weekend. He got customer support on it straight away and dispatched the parts, which were received in a couple of days. Excellent communication from Martin and the team. Thank you.

We had Thermaskirt installed in our house approximately 9 years ago during a major renovation. The house is from early 20th century and in a conservation area so we had limited options from an insulation perspective (single brick no cavity or external insulation options).
We have been more than happy with the hidden heating provided by Thermaskirt. Our heating engineer who undertook the installation only required an additional feature radiator on a north facing elevation where bifold doors removed a large swath of skirting space.
Looking to move and would be happy to use the product in the next project.

Terrific company and product. Our heating is absolutely discrete and works perfectly in our open plan living area. We needed some support with fitting and with after sales but the team were great. We couldn’t be more happy. Thank you.

It is a nightmare, don't buy it. It has been over 1 year, and the initial installation repairs are still pending. They didn't have qualified engineers, and the initial installation went wrong. The customer service is ignoring you despite sending several emails to book a repair date. Please stay away if you don't want to have a headache. Even one star is too much but this is the least I can do.
As you can see below even their reply doesn't make sense at all. The MD states "I note you have also booked a Service call today for the 11th of July. I believe Lauryn and Dean are planning to discuss your issue with you. Perhaps we should wait till after that call?"
My reply: Since the 10th of June, nobody has replied to my emails so I decided to book an appointment to find out why I was completely ignored in the first place.
MD states: "I can see that there are several emails and text messages back and forth with our Tech Team, and they all seem very cordial so I am not sure why the sudden gear change in tone and attitude."
There is no follow up I was chasing them up for a year to rectify the situation. My case was handled over 3 different people and I had to find out by calling them several times. This shows the poor client service.

Heating engineers in Bristol, These items were requested as a specification for council related scope of works.

They sell you the items, have awesome videos for installation and it sort of works well.

Now the bad news, they provide what you think of as dummy sections should be similar to the items. All you actually receive is some wood skirting board and does not match. So you are stuck having removed skirting for the job only to be given wood skirting.

The items are poor unless you have a perfect square dont expect it to go well. You will have major issues trying to clip these items in. Referring to the instructions they will give you measurements, however, you will find out that they refer to a different set of parts, in which case now you cut the pieces short. The valve section the dial just winds off (maybe broke who knows ?)

IF only we could chat to technical support !

They will state you can contact customer support for help with technical, however, when you phone they will stone wall you, ask for emails or photos to even the simplest of questions. Send an email do not expect a return answer. All in all stay clear !

The guys at discrete were very consistent with all enquires, not only just that, any DIY'er can fit this water based skirting just like me. I would 100% recommend these guys to anyone

We fitted Thermaskirt around our kitchen/living room 8 years ago and have been so impressed by how well it heats the room and how un-intrusive it is. We have been able to remove radiators from the walls and therefore can place furniture all around.
This week I needed to replace something and spoke to Lauryn in customer services who could not have been more helpful. The item was dispatched immediately and received within 48 hours. Great service all round. I would highly recommend DiscreteHeat.

The staff were friendly and helpful with all my queries. I have been very pleased the quality of all the items supplied, which made the installation easy and straightforward to fit.

Not really recent experience as I installed Thermaskirt in my seventies bungalow about fifteen years ago! I was keen to use as green energy as possible and installed an air source heat pump as the power source. Thermaskirt has delivered my expectations ever since and continues to do so which is great. I am very happy with the traditional design I selected, the quality of workmanship is extremely high as is the attitude of the company when the odd issue has cropped up, or when advice has been sought. Very helpful people clearly encouraged by an excellent MD. All in all a very good decade and a half. BTW some of the new ideas and products look pretty good as well!

I fitted a skirting radiator several years ago and this has worked really well. Recently - due to a fitting possibly been accidentally knocked, this caused a leak. On inspection it was found to be a distorted manfold kit. On contacting DiscreteHeat, I received immediate, helpful response and a new manifold kit was promptly dispatched and received the next day! I am delighted to say everything is working well! Many thanks for an immediate response and speedy delivery.

Very friendly and helpful people. Currently doing a bit of a cosmetic refurbishment of a thermaskirt system installed in 2013. All still working properly. I do like the look of the electric version though so could be tempted in the future!

I inherited a Thermaskirt system when moving and had a few problems as it hadn’t been fitted very well. Carl was very helpful from the outset and diagnosed the main problem, which was one of pump capacity. Latterly both Lauren and Dean have been great in trying to get me parts for a now discontinued profile. Very happy with system which is working perfectly and grateful for the support.

i installed this at home 10 years ago, its been great all that time. i needed to made a few mods so spoke with customer support regarding availability of parts. Lauryn was really great, nothing too much trouble, sorted all that needed, so job done, thanks DiscreteHeat!
