one and done for me

one and done for me .

served cold meals at two different restaurants over a 3 day stay. cold not cool, or undercooked.

the taps in room ran constantly i guess they dont care about florida water issues

charged the wrong card causing currency conversion costs .

do they care ? no.

suggested i go down the rabbit hole of customer service and i dont care that much over the fees.

other to say i wont go back and will watch for inevitable class action suits that follow such poorly run operations.

Really disappointed Disney World and…

Really disappointed Disney World and associated parks are going down in visitor experience but up in price!

For nearly 30 years I’ve been coming to Florida and whilst Universal jumps ahead in technology Disney is just a poor bystander the notable exceptions being Guardians of the Galaxy ( Epcot) and Rise of the Resistance ( Hollywood Studios ) Two rides against Universals tens of world class rides

There are now two notable problems with Disney apart from that stated :
1. Cleanliness , rubbish in the parks was unheard of years ago; dirty rides when did that creep in ? Example ; go on slinky dog sit in the seat and look at the utter build up of filth and dirt around the bottom of doors to your right ! Not only a health hazard but a fire hazard aka King’s Cross fire/ Hillsborough fire.
2. The utter contempt Disney crew /cast members hold for visitors my guess is we are just stupid tourists. For example go to the fireworks at Magic Kingdom and listen to teenage cast members scream at people and totally losing it if you a. Stop b. Cross a taped line. C stand in a doorway. We were screamed at constantly from the carousel to the bottom of Main Street where incidentally we had no intention of going but were bullied and harassed in that direction so much so my 10 yr old was in tears after being screamed at ! Eventually we made it to the milk shake shop at the top of Main Street to buy my son a milk shake the queue was huge so having ordered we stood outside the side door watching the fire works ….. instantly a teenage girl flew at us screaming we couldn’t stand there … why not I said ….. because it’s an emergency route for responders …..what they need emergency milk shakes I replied! She lost it screaming incoherently to get off the emergency route ( it clearly wasn’t it was the side exit of the milk shake shop… ) so we move literally two inches and stood the other side of the milk shake shop door…. She then continued to glare at us even trying to “ stare us out” …. On leaving the park I was asked Did you have a great time …. No it was awful my son was upset to which the woman replied “awwwesome” showing exactly she wasn’t listening at all …… We were stopped from going over to the other side of Main Street by 4 or 5 cast members who stood in our way …. There seemed no reason as on either side of the cast members people were crossing … when we tried to cross we were screamed at to remain on the sidewalk the girl literally was losing it …. Then five seconds later the cast members just walked away leaving us and others totally bewildered as to what on earth that was all about …I could go on about other examples but you get the jist !
Disney messed up our booking for a table at a restaurant at Epcot to see the light show. We rang the UK number but they said there wasn’t a problem…..we knew via the message their was a problem so rang the US number who took ages to basically say your booking you made weeks ago has been cancelled….. we complained and in fairness we got $25 each compensation to spend at Disney but when we got our phone bill it cost over $120 when we got to Disney went to customer services the guy couldn’t understand the problem ( ffs) three times we had to explain it to him …. Eventually he said he would give us just over$100 dollars as his exchange rate was different …..no apology it was like he was doing us a favour!!!!!! They cancelled our booking they rang from the US to the UK left a garbled message about our booking ….. UK Disney said there wasn’t a problem so we had to ring the US!!!

In summary , we come to Florida every year, last year for the first time we didn’t do Disney due to cost versus ride experience. Next year we won’t be going to Disney and I doubt we will return …… there’s not that much to see … yeah they have one Star Wars ride that’s decent but to pay all that money and be treated like rubbish ….. nope !

Extremely disappointing

Extremely disappointing — not worth the money. Multiple ride breakdowns, ridiculously long queues, and rude staff made the visit stressful and frustrating.
Guest Services offered complimentary tickets, but as international visitors they’re useless — zero value. We were told the only way to escalate our complaint was via a phone call at 2–8am our time, which is impossible. If you’re coming from overseas, seriously reconsider WDW. There are far cheaper, far more enjoyable alternatives with fewer hassles

It's alright.

It's alright.. however not what I've expected when I saw so many ads.
If you plan visiting this place with family... you better go somewhere to europe.
I've had much more fun in Germany than in this place.

EXTRACT YOUR CASH

Having visited many times 25 years ago, I was shocked at the costs a complete rip off!
Not only the cost of entry, if i bought a 5 day pass then it would still be valid today, car parks were free, now its $35 for standard and $55 for preferred!!!
Food and drinks are extortionate!!!! Face paint for the grandkids $30 a ballon $28.
Fast lane pass ? whats all this about another way to extract cash from the paying customer but Disney will tell you it's to enhance your experience.
A shameful experience and I will not be returning at some point this illusion bubble will burst!

I nearly died at Disney

It was an absolute load of crap. Disney has ZERO good rides and the food made me sick, :(:(:(:(:(. Don’t go here. When we were seeing Mickey Mouse a young child ran away screaming for his life. The rides kept breaking down because I’m convinced they were built out of paper mache by a four year old. The food is a compilation of expired milk that your dad went to get and rotten beans condensed into the shape of a Mickey head. Most magical place on earth? Bah the sign should say welcome to HeII Mickey Mouse touched me without my consent and a cast member took my child out the exit to take her to the bathroom, I never saw her again. I only managed to escape with barely my life also Cinderella was definitly trying to rizz up some tourist guys and Snow White was a boy I think I am forgetting Disney from my life forever and after that torture session of illegal touching, food poisoning, and death. I will be jumping off a bridge. “So long folks!”

People visiting Disney Parks in Orlando…

People visiting Disney Parks in Orlando from the 24th of July should CANCEL their Disney Tickets. Spend your money at Universal/Island of Adventure. In the UK you can buy your tickets 14 day passes. They have now changed Genie + name to Lightening Lanes to jump the queues for a fee. The following rides YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR INDIVIDUALLY FOR NO MATER WHAT - TRON - & Dwarfs Mine Train Guardians of the Galaxy Star Wars Rise of The Resistance Avatar Flight of Passage. no pay no ride. Plus people staying in Disney Hotels are allowed to book up their rides 7 days in advance. Disney have 30,000 hotel rooms with at least 2 people staying in those rooms meaning 60,000 times they can book up rides 4 days before people staying elsewhere DO YOU THINK ALL THE ALLOCATED TIMES FOR RIDES WILL BE GONE - YES THEY WILL. My advice do not go to Disney do not buy any Disney tickets. If you have already purchased your ticket see if you can get a refund, otherwise you will just be taking in the sights without going on rides. Just read Disney employees are going on strike from around now all summer Disney parks, hotels, Disney Springs look like they could all be closed how rue this is I have no idea.

Avoid Rip Off Disney!

Disney, Walt will be turning in his grave! You are not now what he envisioned and started!
It was called the magic kingdom, sadly these days it should be called rip off kingdom because thats exactly what its like now. The magic packed up and moved away!
I’m glad the £ was getting a decent rate against the $ because the best part of £350 just to get into the park and thats after the first rip off of £25 to park the car. Add to that they now also charge for you to use the ‘lightning lanes’ which can only be used once per trip per ride at an additional cost of £19 each for all bar one attraction being Star Wars, Rise of the Resistance which also charges an additional £17 each and thats based on 2 adults! If you’re a family of 4 and add the food and drink on top of all the other fees, the word rip off gets even worse when you consider a basic can/bottle of Coke is £4 a go and you start to understand why so few are choosing to visit! I’m a brit having a whinge, but hearing the US bods feeling the same about being taken for a ride and you start to understand why they are starting to fail as a company. Last time I was there, parking was not only much cheaper, the car park was heaving. This time, the car park was at least half empty! The fast lanes were not charged for and allowed you to at least get a couple of goes on rides all over the park. I love Star Wars and to a point enjoyed this visit, but would I ever go again, ABSOLUTELY NO! Don’t get me started on the Build a Droid or even worse Build Your Own Lightsaber, it’s an even bigger rip off and theres no guarantee you will get in due to space issues (excuse the pun) £270 to build a lightsabre is a rip off! I bought mine on Amazon and for the price they charge, I have bought 4 decent ones.
If you value your wallet, forget Disney and take your family to the Kennedy Space Centre, great day out at a fraction of the cost!
Mickey got caught in a trap, he and the rest of Disneys characters died a long time ago! You used to see them here, there and everywhere, now you’re lucky if you get to see one or two and only in one place as opposed to all over the parks!
Will Disney take any of this in hand, doubtful as no doubt the top paid execs are only interested in their fat salaries and probably fatter bonuses while their staff do their best for a pittance. It showed this trip as many of them were working on a who cares attitude unlike my previous visit where they were a lot livelier and looked like they cared!
Shame but this is modern Mickey taking the Mickey out of it’s customers!

The worst experience

Inclusion in their parks in relation to cognitive, or non-visible, disabilities is Null! It has been the worst experience of my life! It is not the first time I have gone, but it is the first time that I have my disability and the treatment was horrible! In one of the attractions I was discriminated against because on the outside no disability was visible

Disney Orlando

Disney Has a LOT to do which could take over a week to do all.

Queues:
Some of The ride queues are long some taking up to 4 Hours per ride and most of the time Disney has hidden them.

But over all my experience was nice just would have been better if the queues were shorter or quicker.
