It was a great experience! There was good communication throughout the entire process. Any questions I had were answered. Sarah communicated with me the entire process. We had issues connecting to the call & Chad was very patient & professional. He even prayed for our marriage! Will highly recommend to anyone considering this option!

He’s from India 🇮🇳, I’m from California 🇺🇸. I could not bring him to the US so the next best way, was to marry him abroad. Distant weddings allowed us to have our wedding together and our friends and family could all be there from the comfort of their living room. We couldn’t have picked a better service. We had an excellent experience with this Zoom marriage ceremony! Everything was smooth and easy to follow, with clear directions from start to finish. The certificate and video were provided instantly, and the staff were very kind and communicative throughout. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a simple and efficient process!

Superb Service for Overseas Weddings
I got married while in Vietnam to a Vietnamese woman over a Distant Weddings Zoom call.
You can invite hundreds of people to join the call, but I only had 5 of my closest friends join.
During the 10-minute ceremony, you can exchange vows & rings.
After the state of Utah pronounces you married, you can kiss the bride.
The officiant will leave the call, but you can hang out with your friends on Zoom for as long as you wish afterwards. It's an excellent opportunity for attendees to share a few words.
At Distant Weddings, Sam & Sarah were extremely responsive & helpful. They both went above and beyond the call of duty, helping me with legal marriage issues that were outside their area of responsibility.
Their service is fast. I considered several options, and this one offered the best value, especially if you need your marriage certificate authenticated and an apostille stamp.
It's nice that you can have your marriage recorded on the Utah blockchain, allowing anyone to authenticate your marriage license digitally.
Sadly, in 2025, few places understand or appreciate how to do that, but one day, the world will modernize.
Highly recommended!

The staff working with Distant Weddings are incredibly kind. We personally worked with Arianne and Chad and had a wonderful experience. Arianne helped answer all of my questions and was supportive through the whole process. We were hesitant at first but everything was legitimate and we’re so glad we chose this route- ultimately very intimate!

Genuinely we had a great experience and we are very thankful to the Utah County Marriage and Chad, our officiant to help us carry out ceremony in such an organised and efficient manner.
