OK, let's start with the positives. Good advert, missing info (Such as firmness rating- not mentioned in ad), quickly answered by operator. Placed order. Immediately after doing so, I noticed that castors were an optional extra, quite important so messaged them, got a second invoice (£60!!), reluctantly paid. Shortly afterwards, got a message that bed had been manufactured (!), passed to 'our dedicated courier' (V1). Given their '2-7 working day' claim, sat back. 5 days later, still heard nothing, messaged again, then told that bed was being picked up on Thursday, they would then be in touch. Thursday passed, no contact, messaged AGAIN. This time they said 'remaining mattress being picked up today (Fri), no idea what that meant, as I only ordered 1 bed (inc mattress). Day or so later, had e-mail from V1 saying they had the bed, were now planning, they'd be in touch. days passed, still heard nothing, messaged AGAIN, this led to another e-mail saying they were planning, would be in touch. Waited. Messaged AGAIN, gotta terse response 'you should contact courier', followed by a message from V1 that it would be delivered 'Thurs' (10 working days after order). Got up early, removed old bed, looked at tracking, noticed schedule had 'bed, mattress, headboard' - no mention of castors. Messaged AGAIN, querying this, was told they were packaged within the divan, fine. Had a telephone call from V1, 'the van has broken down' (Really? Never heard that one before), 'we'll be in touch'. Finally had message that it would be delivered Fri 10-13.00. Waited...... By 12.00 getting anxious, looked at tracking, saw that it was now '13.00-15.00' first I'd heard of THAT, anyway, there was a tracking map, showing van location, estimated 13.50, STILL showed that at 14.30 (!). I was now rivetted to the map, saw they were still 20 miles away, getting closer, I then noticed they were taking a very obscure route, headed for a VERY narrow, steep country lane, past our garden, where vans have been wedged between stone walls (1 of them mine!!!) some have burnt out clutches trying. Tried ringing, no response, so ran a few hundred metres to try to stop them, meeting just in time. I explained the problem (2 blank faces 'followed sat nav' - past TWO huge signs saying 'no sat nav'). Anyway, they turned wound, went on main road. Took ages, I stood outside, waiting, indicated where they could pull in, which they ignored, parking so as to block the road. The '2 man crew' then became 1 man guiding traffic, 1 dragging beds across van, carrying on his own, hitting van, road, door frame - he refused my help. Anyway, it was here. Started unpacking, (FILTHY plastic bag, HOW, in just a few days??) noticed that there was not a single label saying what it was, or where made (I bought '5000 spring, premium spec, no idea what I got) opened divan drawers, no castors (What a surprise.....) messaged YET AGAIN, to be told they would investigate (Didn't help me, I HAD to build, said I'd use the standard feet, please refund), eventually, they said they would, 7 days later STILL waiting, they now say it could take 10 days....
On building bed, I then noticed that the zip-lock mattresses didn't align when attached, only 20mm or so, but unexpected & disappointing. Mattress was described a 'medium firm', let's call it medium, AT BEST.
So, be aware that whatever you order, you have no idea what you receive, maybe it IS made in Yorkshire, to correct spec, short of cutting open you'll never know.......
Having just moved into my dream home, and looking to furnish and decorate our guest bedroom, I bought a bed from Divan beds. The service offered included delivery, assembling, taking away the cardboard packaging. Not only was the bed exceeding my expectations, the entire experience was outstanding.
Ordering was user friendly, and simple. I made an error on mattress size and the team proactively reached out to clarify what we needed to correct. I felt like there was someone to care and answer my emails for further ordering and advice. What a fab company

I recently purchased a bed and mattress from Divan Beds, and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. I ordered an ottoman bed, and the quality is outstanding! Very well made and exactly the colour I needed. I was slightly apprehensive about buying a mattress without trying it, but the customer service team advised me as to what will be best for me. The mattress is exactly as described, and it's incredibly comfortable. As someone with a bad back, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my sleep quality since using it.
The customer service was also top-notch. They were quick to respond to my inquiries and made sure I had all the information I needed. I’ve already recommended Divan Beds to all of my family and friends, and I’ll definitely be shopping with them again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone searching for a high-quality, comfortable bed.

Ottoman bed is solid, the quality is on par with other major high street brands and for a fraction of the price - good delivery service and polite staff with brilliant communication which is rare to come across these days
