This was our 4 th year at this hotel.

This was our 4 th year at this hotel.
Staff really friendly and helpful.
Food always nice and fresh
Rooms lovely and clean.
But…..
Very young animation team 18-24yrs who played music all day long, so loud you couldn’t talk to each other without shouting.
A lot of people complained as
We weren’t in a nightclub, even ballads still had to have the boom, boom, boom attached to it.
With a lot of people complaining they turned it down slightly. Every time the darts/keep fit started up went the volume.
A lot of people staying were over the age of 45 so inappropriate.
When you thought it couldn’t get worse, in the evening the volume was again so loud until 11.00pm which in the hotels favour the music stopped and bar closed. Another BUT because it’s an all inclusive hotel people banked all their drinks so by 1am people were drunk/shouting etc.
Then you had people arriving in the night with suitcases on wheels trundled to rooms so if you managed to sleep, you were awake now!
The last four years we had music but it was background. When darts or an event, the music got louder so everyone knew something was going on.
Felt so sorry for people with young children, the kids club consisted of pens/pencils and paper, there is a small play area.
Consisted of little swing and slide.
For the older children other than table tennis/snooker.
I was looking forward to the hot tub but when I tested the water it was Luke warm, never saw anyone in it the whole 14 days.
The Owner/Manager should be able to judge the different age group of clients at different times of year. Jan/Mar mainly older people. July/aug/families
And younger people .
We also got asked to try the Al a carte menu that wanted to introduce. Lots of photos were taken. Food looked lovely, but arrived warm. Music was on a tv on utube. Absolutely no atmosphere.
Nobody asked for anyone to make comments.
There is nowhere to go and sit in the sun and relax. Which less face it, that’s what holidays are for.
