The Divilife Divi 5 course covered all the new Divi 5 features, including some released during the live course. The lessons were both entertaining and informative, giving enough detail of the more complex aspects, like FlexBox and Loop, and expanding on this in the ‘Coaching Calls’.
The real revelation, though, was the Divilife ‘Framework, which uses the Divi 5 Presets and Variables to profoundly change the design process. Like many of the best ideas, this change in approach is obvious…. In hindsight, after these lessons.

I loved the Divi Life Divi 5 Expert course.

After building websites in Divi 4 for years, I’d found it hard to keep pace with all that’s new in Divi 5, but this course gave me a solid foundation and a big confidence boost.

Tim Strifler is an excellent teacher. He covers a lot of ground without rushing, he’s flexible in his approach, and he’s responsive to questions from the live participants.

The combination of variables and presets in Divi 5 provides a far more structured, maintainable, and more resilient toolset than we’ve had in Divi 4. After having completed the Divi 5 Expert course, I feel ready both to build sites from scratch and to migrate old sites.

Divi 5 Expert Course
If you are coming from Divi 4 to Divi 5, this is a must-take course. Divi 5 is different in many ways, yet there is some familiarity if you are coming from Divi 4.

However, those differences are different enough that it's not intuitive to use the new Divi 5 builder properly. This course points out those differences.

This course will show you all of those small, nuanced differences and point out the "gotcha's" to look out for, especially when you are in the editor. It will show you how to ensure you are editing the correct module, row, and section, since there are no more pop-out editors.

You need to rethink how you approach a new website build project from the very beginning. Knowing how to do this and setting up your build environment from the start will save countless hours of work when modifications are needed across the entire website later. This course shows the proper path on how you should start out your next website build with Divi 5.

Not only do you get Tim's in-depth knowledge from the course, but you also get access to all of the Q&A questions from the live attendees, where they ask real-life, useful scenarios of implementation of using the builder from their own projects, and maybe you have those same questions. But you can't get those answers unless you take this course.

The Divi 5 Expert course is invaluable! I had installed Divi5 on a new site as soon it was available, dove right in, and chased my tail in circles for a week. I clearly did not understand the new Divi 5 lingo, the relationship between variables, presets, and components, and how to use them in concert to build a site. Each lesson is built on the previously-covered info to develop a practical, hands-on understanding of not only how to use the new Divi, but also apply it in real-world settings to create solid, usable websites. Tim graciously offers tips all along the way to ensure your success with Divi 5, and shares tools that all web designers should have in their toolbox. Tim is generous with his knowledge and willingness to share. And the Divi Life Design Framework brings everything together as a useful foundation for jumpstarting website design. Just a few days after the final lesson, I started a new site with new confidence (and efficiency!), and easily converted a handful of sites to the new Divi. This course is worth every penny and minute spent, and then some.

As a long term web developer on the Divi 4 platform, I recommend the Divi Life Divi 5 Expert course to everyone who plans to continue (or start) building out websites with Divi 5. I know I will have saved many hours of "trying to work things out myself" from learning the things this course unveils. I now also have a much better awareness of the foundations, and how taking the time to lay them out well, will continue to save me many hours on every build henceforth.

Moving from Divi 4 to Divi 5 has taken quite a brain shift. I know without this course, there is so much I would be doing wrong, or at least not doing in a way that will make the build so much easier.

The format and structure of the course is well thought out. Each session building on the other. I found this layering of information really helpful for retaining and remembering everything.

So - if you want to master Divi 5, produce well planned websites faster - my recommendation is to start here with the Divi 5 Expert Course.

When it's time to pull your machete and step into the jungle, it's best to follow a knowledgeable guide. Tim Strifler's leadership is sincere, genuine and comprehensive. DIVI 5 is a completely new tool that provides the user access to, and the responsibility for, granular control of what is crafted. That level of minutiae can quickly produce a jungle environment from the familiar ecosystem DIVI 4 asked you to navigate. In my case, a bit like being lost in what I thought was going to be my own back yard. Thank you, Tim.

I enjoyed the course immensely. Although I was unfortunately not able to attend all lessons during their sessions, even the recorded ones are very usefull. In itself I think I could have mastered Divi 5 myself, but only to the extent of knowing what button does what or what a certain function means. For me the added value was that during the course you also get tons of real life examples, plus - most important - you get to see how all things interact and are 'meant to be'. So instead of just using Divi 5 as an updated model of Divi 4, you get plenty of insights on where exactly the added value of Divi 5 is found, and how it affects your complete workflow of designing websites. Even with all this help I'm not completely there, but for sure I got an enormous headstart. Highly recommended!

I have recently completed the live Divi 5 course. It was fun and real. It is broken down into logical sections. This was a great course overall, packed with valuable information in a short amount of time. It’s something I will revisit more than once to fully absorb everything, as well as review the updates. It will also serve as an excellent ongoing resource for improving and refining my web design skills. Definitely worth the time and money. I recommend this course to those who will be migrating from divi 4 to divi 5 or just starting with divi.

Tim has the patience necessary when training a diverse group who have various skill levels. Divi 5 has so many new features, including a different interface, so every step of the way we learned new ways to use our new Divi. I was a Divi 4 Expert but to become an Expert in Divi 5 required Tim's course. Thanks for your expertise.

Divi 5 expert course was very informative and full of so much info that it will take some time to assimilate! Tim was an excellent teacher. He was patient, human (lol), humorous, and succeeded in answering questions daily on the fly, even when he had to figure out the answers on the spot. It was amazing to see how much knowledge he has of not only about Divi 5, but also on so many different subjects. I am hoping Elegant Themes will fix the many bugs in Divi 5 so I can start building sites with it. Great course!

This was a very worthwhile class. The training was clear, encouraging, and full of useful information. I especially liked that it helped me better understand not just where things are in Divi 5, but how to actually use them more effectively. It also made the newer features feel much less overwhelming and gave me a stronger sense of confidence when working through real site updates and design changes.

I'm SO glad I was able to take Tim / DiviLife's Divi 5 Expert course! I'm also happy that I was able to attend almost all of the live sessions, and didn't put off accessing all the great course material that we covered.

I was lucky to have registered early and received the discounted rate for the course, but with all of the extra coaching sessions, plus access to the DiviLife Design Framework and 200+ layouts to come, well, full price would still have been a great deal!

I particularly enjoyed the session on migrating sites from Divi 4 to Divi 5, as that is something I will be putting to use for a number of client sites in the coming year.

I have been a Divi Life Member for a long time but this is my first time taking one of Tim's courses (Divi 5 Expert) and it has been great. So glad I made the investment to learn how to better utilize Divi 5. And doing it live was fantastic and totally recomend, as there was lots additional training that came with the Q&A's. I recently completed Divi 5 Expert and it was excellent. Tim is a terrific instructor who clearly explains the fundamentals while helping students understand the important differences between Divi 4 and Divi 5. I especially appreciated how Tim covered the pros and cons of variables and presets, and helped us become comfortable with Flexbox and CSS Grid. He is very patient when answering questions and makes sure everyone understands the concepts before moving forward. I would highly recommend this course to anyone planning to migrate to Divi 5 or begin building new sites with it.

This course was great! Tim's teaching style is so helpful. He doesn't just show you where to click to get something done or set up, but he explains the "why" behind each concept, which means you can actually apply it on your own when the course is over. It's practical and clear, without being dumbed down.

It was great to really see how to apply Divi 5's new design system with the design variables, dynamic colors, presets, etc. This course showed me I had been doing things the hard way and gave me a better system. It changed the way I approach a project from the start.

Tim Strifler truly over-delivered. He adapted each live session to answer any questions from the audience and kept up with Divi's constant updates. He's patient, clear and practical, and I really appreciated how responsive he was throughout the course. He also provided great starter resources and is even extending the course because he feels not everything has been covered yet.
One thing I particularly loved was that the course was offered as live sessions. Being able to ask questions in real time and see Tim adapt on the spot made a real difference. That said, the recorded sessions make this an excellent resource for anyone who couldn't attend live. You can go back to anything at your own pace and use it as a long-term reference.
Whether you're new to Divi or an experienced user, this course is worth it. I'm about to start a major website rebuild and this is my foundation. Highly recommend.

I've been using Divi for close to a decade, and I had been pretty apprehensive about the release of Divi 5 and what its rollout would affect my clients' sites, and my own business' site because learning it seemed so vast and a bit overwhelming. The Divi 5 Expert Course gave me the confidence to dive into Divi 5, and even develop a new clients' small website while I was learning in the class. Luckily I was able to attend almost all of the classes live, and it was really beneficial to ask questions to Tim in real-time. Tim was a friendly, approachable and patient coach that made the class enjoyable. I'm sure I'll learn even more by just digging into Divi 5 in the day-to-day, but I'm so appreciative that I'll have these course videos for future reference as I build new client sites in Divi and convert my existing sites over. Tim did a great job with his Divi 5 Expert course. As Divi 5 is a complete paradigm shift from how Divi 4 worked, there's a lot to take in! This course walks you through the process, and shows hands on examples. I'm sure I'll be referring back to the course material frequently as I go through the learning process! I've looked at several "tutorials" that say they'll teach you Divi 5, but none come close to this detailed course.
