All the wood provided was from another…
All the wood provided was from another supplier and all of it was old and full of mould/ green. There was also a lot of wood broken and also rotten.
I sent an email and had no response.

I can’t really fault this company
I can’t really fault this company. I made the mistake of ordering from them when I was looking for supplies & thought I was ordering from a local company. After a long wait they must have contacted Howarth Timber who are local to Leeds & they eventually delivered the wood about a week later than I was expecting the delivery. If you’re in the Nottingham area I’m sure DIY are great.

Thank you for your fair and balanced review. We do have our own local distribution but we work with partnered suppliers to fulfill orders nationally. This generally works well but I am disappointed to hear that you waited a long time to have the delivery confirmed to you.
During the run of bank holidays in April and May we did see surges in demand that slowed things down but we have since put things in palce to mitigate this so I hope we can see you again soon and give you a 5* experience!

We really do apologise for the experience you had. We experienced a surge in demand over the Easter Bank holiday and, for some customers, this impacted delivery lead times and timeliness of communications. We have since improved systems and grown the team so that high demand does not have such an impact on the service level.
