Amazing product! I'm no DJ so I used the features to improve my soundtrack for a dance party. It reordered my songs and did fantastic transitions between them. I know that there are so many more features if I was so inclined.

I don't find it to be intuitive at all…
I don't find it to be intuitive at all for looping specific sections, or for doing transitions that aren't stuck to speeding up or slowing down tempos to match other songs, also it glitches quite a lot. I would appreciate to have my money reimbursed at this point

To loop a specific section, you can select a part and choose Duplicate from the right mouse click menu. We also have the option to disable beatsync in your transitions.

Easy to use by getting swiftly accustomed to it
I find both modes - DJing & Mashup - very well organized and intuitive to use. I also had the chance to use Stem extraction feature while the free 7day trial and I found it a very good tool

Effects are buggy in ver. 4.1 apple silicon
Effects adding stops from working and needs to restart the application to work again as normal. A bit annoying. Other than that it is a great software.

You have to take the time to learn it
For many many years I've been using Mixmeister and still do to this day, last year I had a go on the trial for this and or though I could see the potential of it just didn't have the patience to sit and learn the basics so gave up. Felt I was just too old to take the time when Mixmeister was doing me just fine.
Forward to now and I thought I would give DJ Studio another go and managed to get another trial version. This time I have taken the time to simply learn a bit more about the 'Stems' and I have to say they're an absolute game changer when making mixes, simply being able to just have a vocal makes a massive difference when mixing from one song to the next and for this reason alone I'm now 80% certain I'll purchase it. I currently have two mixes going at the same time with the same songs in each software to compare and or though DJ Studio does take a lot longer to set up and get things sounding how you want you cannot ignore that it is far superior to Mixmeister.
I now no longer DJ 'live' and only make mixes for myself or family events so Mixmeister has done me proud for many many years but I think it may now be time to update and say a very sad goodbye to a trusty friend.
EDIT - Just noticed that the price has gone up from £129 to £149 so only four stars as was planning on purchasing due to the low price.
EDIT 2 - Have now purchased and enjoying it, should be able to export WAV files as well as MP3 though. Don't agree that only the ultimate version has this as surely you're paying extra for the video/VST extra's and the WAV exporting should really be available for all?

Stem separation is definitely a game changer to make mixes, it gives you so much more options than just EQ mixing! It's a whole other level.
The lower prices was available for just 3 days because of our 3rd birthday. So you probably missed that window ;-(
With the Pro version you can already export your mix to WAV16. You are correct that WAV24 and WAV32 are only available in the highest plan.

I’m really liking it
I’m really liking it. Spent a day with it now (about 6-7 hours). I really like how you can plan out a set on there in a linear way in which you can scroll through using the DAW and how it curates your set list. Saves massive amounts of time. Really enjoying it.
