The program is great, I really liked the format and all you can do with it, but it doesn't work properly on older Macs. Even with lots of RAM, you must have a new computer for the program to run s... See more

I have Serato...when I click the Serato icon on my taskbar, Serato launches ....NO LOGIN.
Why doesn't DJ Studio perform the same way? I've already purchased the software, why do I have to login twice to a software that I've purchased?
I prefer the software NOT be cloud based. I have to be connected to wifi to use the software.

Fantastic for creating fast edits, mashups and transition tracks with stem separation. Been having a lot of fun going through the tutorials. The speed at which you can work is amazing, this is a gamechanger for DJ’s.

For the moment still exploring i'm not quit excited. A lot a stuff but the interface is to big and you need to navigate a lot before finding what you looking for. Not as easy friendly has Mixmeister. The sound is good but for me working in radio i need something more faster too find stuff and a section for loop would be good

I love the ease of use and versatility of this app. Started using it to do offline mixes and couldn't be more happy of how much tweaking and finetuning I can have on the transition between tracks so seamlessly.

You don’t need to be a live‑performance DJ to create great results — the timeline‑based workflow removes the pressure of arranging tracks in real time. Instead, you can build smooth, creative transitions at your own pace, with powerful tools that help you focus on the music rather than the mechanics. It’s the perfect solution for anyone who wants high‑quality mixes without needing years of DJ experience.

I have been a professional DJ since 1990. The DJ Studio product (purchased a few days ago) is feature and function rich while also providing a very intuitive and customer-friendly experience. After watching a few educational videos, I created my first mix within an hour. I have a client who recently provided an extensive "must-play" list with songs of various beats and keys. DJ Studio has made it easy for me to test various song combinations, save these mixes for use at the event, and provide guidance on live mixing. What an amazing product and enhancement to my live performances.

I love it. It has some small Bugs, that can be a bit annoying, but overall it makes fun to use it.

The software is limited but could have potential. You can't make edits/ adjustment smaller than 1 beat. That can stifle creativity and the work around is too much trouble with the glitches the wave forms and stems have. The transition window has it's own problems, sometimes when you change the audio on a channel it becomes undoable. For Mash-up and mixes you should have more than 3-4 sample lanes. The BPM analyzer needs some work, while it generally does an ok job, more often I find myself making too many correction but, to be fair I am working with older tracks. Also a lot of the keys are showing different than mixed in key. That, I don't understand. I have only been using it for a few days I haven't decided if it's worth keeping. right now I'm hoping it's just user error but the more I get into it the more my hope fades. Also I was hopeful when I seen you have a request feature.. but that hope faded after I seen some request with no response for more than a year. Seems like the forum is not used often. I have a request that is pending admin approval for Two days now.... Post approval shouldn't take this long.
This daw is not detailed, making it difficult when cutting the song

I’ve used Mixmeister over the years to create mixes for personal use. The absence of updates made the software increasingly unusable. The end of life declaration pushed me to start searching for what others might be using.
My searching led me to DJ Studio. Everything I could find suggested that this may be what I was looking for and more. I started the free trial and quickly concluded that this was for me.
I am impressed with the available tools and the fact that it’s actively being developed. During promotional pricing periods, the cost is reasonable for those of us who do not use the product to make money. I look forward to the ride as the program matures into something even better.

I had tried DJ Studio before in a trial version and have to admit that I couldn’t really get the hang of it back then.
Recently, I took advantage of a special offer and reinstalled DJ Studio, dug into it, and created my first mix of about 50 tracks and roughly 2 hours in length.
I believe the interface is intuitive enough to get started quickly, but you’ll need to spend some time familiarizing yourself with all the features and how to use them correctly.
I don’t regret my choice, and I later upgraded my subscription with the Stems option… absolutely top-notch.

I find the beat grid clunky, harmonize is hit and miss , very rarely does it sync the beat
Having used Ableton for many years with warp mode, dj studio is miles behind in the beat match market .
Dj software that cannot match the beat even when the tracks have similar bpm and takes a lot of effort just to do it ?
Its just a lot easier to make a mix in ableton
