In some ways the DJI Flip is a good drone for beginners, though perhaps the Neo is better due to the cost. The forward viewing impact sensor is very helpful, though would be more helpful if the drone could only go in a forward direction. The Controller with display is very featureful, but the main selling point is the ease of use as there's a button on the side of the drone that provides multiple actions without the need for the controller. The 3 batteries and charger are very well built and do as advertised with charging speed when plugged into a fast charger. It may be worth knowing that the Flip is louder in flight than the Mini 5 Pro, I know this because I have upgraded to it. If I were buying again, I would go for the Mini 5 Pro, but that's only because I had certain needs that it fulfilled. However if I were buying again, but purely for entertainment reasons, I would likely try the Neo.
