I bought a single DJI Mic 2 transmitter on its own to test it out as Bluetooth connected mic for my Android mobile phone and my Windows laptop and I was delighted with its performance. I then decided to go for the transmitter + receiver combo, and bought this charging case and the lavalier mic separately. The recording quality is amazing with the DJI Mic 2 system. This charging case comes with a sturdy, spongy, protective zipper bag. There is more than enough room inside the bag for not only the DJI Mic 2 Charging Case, but your other DJI Mic 2 peripherals as well, like charging cable, windscreens, and lavalier mic. The charging case itself has room for two transmitters and a receiver. It opens by pressing the button latch on the front of the device, and clicks firmly shut. The nice bonus is that transmitters that are placed in the charging case alongside the receiver, automatically link with the receiver. Charging status is displayed on the screen of the receiver. There are slots in the charging case for the lightning and UCB-C adaptors that fit on the receiver. The charging case holds enough power to charge the receiver and two transmitters for approximately two full cycles, extending the operating time for your audio recording, especially when you're out and about. The charging case has a USB-C charging port at the back, but there was no charging cable included in the package. Oh well, if you're like me, you have a ton of USB-C charging cables lying about.
