Pin sharp, quick AF response, a little heavy after a while but not a real issue. I wish it was 2.8 through the range but even at 100mm it's still just over f3 for ff so still great light gathering. Together with excellent noise characteristics of the X2Dii this is a great standard telephoto lens.
