Simple to use, works and has great uptime. Reliable support

I wanted to move my hosting from AWS and I found DNSimple and the transfer process was so smooth and easy, and I love the part where you can remix your DNS settings! Will recommend to everyone.

We've been slowly moving domains & some certificates over to DN Simple and have found it a refreshingly "simple" experience. No clutter and a lot easier to see what's going on. The various options for certificate download bundles save a lot of time. Thank you!

It’s been great watching this company grow. Their hands on care for you as a client has only grown from how awesome it was when they were smaller. They know DNS and they know how to help you!

I registered close to 4,000 domains with DNS Simple over the past 24 months so I speak from experience. DNSimple has dark UX baked into almost every part of their product, subtle design tricks that seem aimed at getting you to pay for things you didn’t intend to. Even after opting out of automatic renewals, they’ll quietly re-enable them or make it confusing to confirm that renewals are actually off. The same goes for “DNS zones” - you think you’ve disabled or deleted a domain, but hidden dependencies or default settings keep generating new paid zones in your account. The interface makes it look like you’re managing simple, transparent subscriptions, but in practice, it’s full of misleading labels, buried toggles, and unclear billing flows that push you toward extra charges. It’s not a bug; it’s design — and it leaves you constantly second-guessing whether you’re being billed for something you never agreed to.

Reliable service and great UX. I've been a happy DNSimple customer for over 10 years and have always had the best experience. Other than providing a reliable service and great UX for managing my domains, their support team is great at answering questions and providing clarification.

DNSimple has been outstanding to work with. Their interface is refreshingly clean and uncluttered, making domain & DNS management straightforward rather than overwhelming. The API is rock-solid and comprehensive, letting us manage everything via infrastructure as code.
Their support team was genuinely friendly, highly competent, and incredibly patient with our questions & issues. It's rare to find a service that excels in both technical reliability and human interaction, but DNSimple delivers on both fronts.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for hassle-free domain & DNS management with excellent support.

I have used DNSimple for years and they have been so great in helping me with any questions or concerns. Very prompt in their response and have kept their fees pretty constant this entire time. The staff has always been helpful and courteous. Thank you to all who have made my DNS simple. :-)

Account team is very easy to communicate with. Service is great and easy to use. No complaints.

Yesterday, I had a question that was more informal and a lack of knowledge from my part. Still, as it had the potential to become an issue, I opened a ticket. I received a lengthy and detailed response within less than 24h. It was friendly and on point.

Been with DNSimple for a number of years and I wouldn't think about another DNS manager for my domains.

Used them for quite some time. Had no issues and support always emailed same day response. I had to switch due to a marketing company I started using handling this stuff for me. DNS simple actually refunded 3 months because I forgot to cancel... literally couldn't ask for anything more.

I work with multiple DNS providers on behalf of our customers, and dnsimple is far and away my favourite provider.

Their API is powerful, extremely well documented and easy to develop for, and their DNS infrastructure is great as well. Their web interface is also modern and easy to navigate.

If we ever have issues with the DNS for domains that we are hosting with other providers, we move them to dnsimple and the problem goes away.

The simplest, most complete UX for this sort of work that I have ever seen. I wish every hosting company, security company, and other nerd tool I use on the web would look at how things work on DNSimple. More hsoting companies should consider working with them. The integration with Heroku is stellar and makes hosting at Heroku an even easier choice.

I spoke to 2 women, Carla and Stephanie both of them provided me with easy to follow instructions when I was stuck.

Bear in mind I know NOTHING about domains, websites etc, so I was struggling along!

They honestly both made it very easy for me to follow.

If a domain expires, they keep charging you for it, even without reregistering it, until you explicitly go and delete it from the interface. They know they aren't providing a service to you, but don't care. They want to keep taking your money. It's very shady.

I automated my certificate issuance and installation with DNSimple webhooks and APIs. That really freed my time.

DNSimple provided an easy way to do https to https redirects that just worked, and it was easy to configure. 30-minute SSL certificates are magic. There was initially some kind of synchronization problem, but they solved that within an hour of submitting a trouble ticket.
