Gift Card scam
I purchased a gift card for Dobrumba in October 2025. The card was valid for 1 year.
The card had a value of around €225. On our first visit we spent about €50 of the value. Upon paying we were told that it was single use and the remaining €175 was now not valid. Upon arguing with the manager he reluctantly accepted this was not fair and eventually agreed to honor the remaining balance.
On our 2nd visit in March, 6 months after the purchase we were told the card was not valid as it was out of date. They had written the purchase date on in the expiry date section. After another argument with the staff I showed them my bank statement which clearly showed the purchase of the card was in October. Only then would the staff agree to allow use of the card.
I would warn anyone against purchasing a gift card for this company as they do everything they can to avoid allowing it to be used.
In addition to the above the service was not great. We were told the table was available for 2 hours however after 25 minutes waiting we had to find a server and ask them for menus so we could order.
