Every physician on Doctor Fran is licensed to practise in Ontario and registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), so you're always speaking with a real, qualified doctor. We built Doctor Fran for the many people in Ontario who fall through the cracks of the health system: international students, visitors, newcomers waiting for their OHIP card, work permit holders, anyone whose card is lost or expired, and people who have OHIP but can't get in to see a family doctor. Here's how it works. You download the app, create an account, and verify your identity. You tell us what you need, pay a transparent flat fee of $82 per consultation, and a physician calls you — usually the same day.
