A very useful legal platform for small businesses
I’ve been really impressed with dogetlawyer.com. What I particularly like is that it doesn’t feel as though it has been built purely for lawyers. The platform makes contracts and other legal documents much easier to understand and manage from a normal business owner’s point of view.
The contract automation is probably the feature I’ve found most useful. The process is straightforward, the guidance is written in plain English, and it takes a lot of the usual hassle out of preparing business documents.
I also think the Business Health Check is a very good idea. For a small business, it can be difficult to know where there may be gaps in legal, compliance or general business processes. Having these areas brought together in one place makes the platform feel much more useful than a simple AI contract generator.
The contract review and CLM features are promising as well. Being able to keep contracts organised and have better visibility of important dates and renewals is genuinely useful. There is probably still room for the CLM side to become even more sophisticated over time, particularly for businesses managing a large number of contracts, but what is already there provides a solid foundation.
What stands out for me is the combination of automation and simplicity. It feels like dogetlawyer.com is trying to make everyday legal and compliance tasks more accessible without making everything unnecessarily complicated.
Overall, a well thought-out platform with some genuinely useful tools for SMEs. I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops further.

The strongest parts for me are the contract creation tools and the Business Health Check. Both are clearly aimed at making legal and compliance tasks more manageable for ordinary businesses rather than only legal professionals.

The Business Health Check is especially useful because it highlights areas that might otherwise be overlooked and gives you a structured place to start.

Contract creation is quick and easy to follow as well.

I’ve taken one star off because the contract management side still needs refining. A more advanced CLM experience with clearer workflows, notifications, responsibilities and renewal management would make the platform much stronger.

Overall, though, there is a lot here already and the concept is very good.

The Business Health Check is probably one of the strongest parts of the platform. It helps businesses spot possible legal, compliance and operational gaps and gives a useful overview of areas that may need further attention. For SMEs that do not have their own legal or compliance team, I can see this being particularly helpful.

The contract automation and document production side is also very good. Creating common business contracts and documents is fairly straightforward, and the platform seems to have been designed with ordinary business owners in mind, rather than just lawyers.

The main reason I’m giving it 4 stars rather than 5 is the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) side. There is clearly a good foundation there, but at the moment it does not feel quite as polished or complete as some of the more established specialist CLM platforms.

I’d like to see further improvements around contract tracking, obligations, approvals, renewals, negotiation workflows and the general visibility of contracts across the business.

That said, the platform has a lot of potential. It seems to be developing into much more than simply an AI contract generator, particularly with the Business Health Check and wider compliance tools.

If they continue improving the CLM features whilst keeping the contract automation simple and practical, I think Dogetlawyer.com could become a very useful platform for SMEs.
