For the last 2 months

For the last 2 months, most of the aisles on both sides are lined up with boxes of product, (Shawano Dollar Tree) Shelves are getting emptier and emptier!!! Isn’t that a safety hazard, for one thing? For another thing, the company has to be losing a lot of money by not having the product out for purchase. It wasn’t always like that. At the beginning of this year, this store was revamped. It looked awesome! However, I don’t know what happened but it gradually started going downhill. Now it’s gotten to the point of being a disgrace!!!!! Someone responsible needs to get in there and get it cleaned up again, PLEASE!

ordering from dollar tree on-line

I have ordered on-line for delivery of 2 cases of shredded crinkle paper because they didn't have in store & it took 3 weeks for delivery. I placed an order on line for in-store pick-up on 4/21/25 because they didn't have an item in stock in the store & I thought in-store picp-up would be quicker but today is 5/6/25 and still nothing. Sad thing is they don't give refunds only in-store credit. If it's not in stock at the store I would advise not to order on-line because you won't receive it in a timely fashion. Better to buy from Amazon or oriental trading.

While shopping at Dollar Tree on 250…

While shopping at Dollar Tree on 250 east 144Th street Bronx Ny 10451. I always shop at this store and must say the lady at the register Monica I believe her name is is very rude. This isn’t the first time she refused to cover some glass candles and preferred to call manager to void two Glass candles. She says push your items forward the register slider isn’t working. She always has an attitude. I’m a regular at this location. Is always something with her. They talk about customers they say rude things on the loud speaker. Is not only her maybe is okay for them to treat customers poorly. She chooses who she can talk bad to. I spend 51.99 this day. I’m saving the receipt as proof. 000019/05123

Bad Management

I entered Dollar Tree April 21st 2025 around 10.00 am or a lil later, the customer line was quite long and the people were complaining. The cashier stated it was long because of one customer holding her up. I looked to my right a young lady was stocking I informed her the cashier needed help, she replied something in a sarcastic way and kept working. The next aisle I seen another worker and informed her the cashier needed help. She replied I'm not a cashier you need to speak with manager, The young lady bursted out and said I know, I said to her you should be helping her she said something in mumbling. I clearly said it's not my fault you don't want to work now she is saying things and cursing. She yelled out you want be buying anything today. She told the cashier she want be buying anything. I begin to walk out since I couldn't buy anything she still saying things and I as well. I asked for corporate office she yelled it out. I asked for it to be writing down. She said something. I said you very ignorant she said take your old ass own. Get the number how you get it. She said something in the manner that I responded outside. She said your old ass better have funeral arrangements. In all this she called the sheriff. The sheriff told the other crew she came off aggressive towards him but because she acknowledged she is the store manager. The trespassing will go forth. I visit the store once a week. Miss Michelle can vouch. I have never been a problem. It was a gesture for her Miss Motley to help her co worker. I'm not sure if the name is right. She said her name to me. Every action causes a reaction. I have been in management for over 25 years. Customer Service is the most important. I wrote corporate office no response, It seems the employees are overworked and frustrated, the store can be a hazard at times, boxes everywhere.

Clean well stocked store

Clean well stocked store, friendly employees. Sales Associate "Judy" is the best. I always look for her line when she is working. She is friendly, pleasant, and so respectful to all customers. They are lucky to have her!

Horrible return policy

I left very dissatisfied from the dollar tree. I went to exchange two items snickers instant pudding because they were bad and the sales associate jeanine said she wasn't going to exchange them,
I showed her the items are closed not open and still said no. she even said any of the food I bought from the dollar tree that turns out to be rancid it wont be exchanged.
She said that's the dollar tree policy. if that's true that's a horrible policy. It's not my fault dollar tree sells bad food.I loved shopping at dollar tree but I'm going to shop elsewhere from now on.
I doubt people will keep shopping there when they found out about from social media about this return policy.

Unanswered Letter sent to Corporate

I sent, to one of the Dollar Tree executives at the corporate headquarters, by certified mail, a letter describing my experience at three Dollar Tree stores with an order on line, pick up in store orders I placed (3 orders, to 3 stores). My experience with these three orders and the three stores was pathetic. I wrote Dollar Tree. To date, going on four monhs, not one single person from Dollar Tree headquarters has addressed my letter. That's really sad. It tells me how they simply have no real concern for their customers. They lost me, to the tune of about $ 225.00 per month.

Dollar Tree 1327 S Brundidge St, Troy Al

1327 S Brundidge St, Troy, AL 36081, All the shopping carts have poles attached so you cannot take your purchases out to your vehicle. The only carts without poles are piled high with store merchandise. We purchased over $70 in groceries and cleaning supplies. My son removed the pole, laid it beside the other carts against the wall and assisted me with our purchases out but when my son returned the cart and reinserted the pole he was spoken to very rudely and told carts could not go outside because people steal them. He replied he did not steal the cart he was bringing it back and he was told we would be banned from the store. They have employees stocking shelves that are not running registers, surely someone could help the elderly or disabled by allowing the use of carts and/ or retrieving them from parking lot.
Review asked for exact date and my receipt was thrown away but it was month of March 2025.

Customer mistreatment by an employee

Was badly mistreated by an associate in store 2593, 39 Mountain Mall Plaza Monticello NY 12701-1556. The woman/girl was heavy set and short with long dark brown hair. She caused a scene with me in front of other customers and employees because of an accident of which I apologized to her for at least 3 times. Offered twice to clean it up and told her not to cut herself.

There was a cart fully stacked high with merchandise. On the opposite side of where I was standing were 3 boxes stacked, therefore, I couldn't see them. The boxed up inventory was blocking the items I planned on purchasing. When I went to move the cart, as I have done so many times while shopping, she told me not to without bothering to explain why. I thought I was being helpful so insisted on moving it myself and accidentally knocked the cart into the items stacked up against the cart. As a result, as I was heading to check out, she came from the back yelling and volatile. Saying that she told me not to do it. My response was what if the same thing happened and there was no associate in that aisle? And I thought I was being helpful. I felt threatened. She probably would have decked me if she was close enough. While trying to defend myself, she kept screaming over me which I didn't appreciate. The assistant manager did come over and told her to stop.

This supposedly grown adult associate threw a temper tantrum right in the store. This is someone with serious anger issues and does not benefit Dollar Tree. Horrible customer service skills and what occurred was bound to happen considering how the boxed inventory was placed and the fact that it was glass. Potentially a liability.

Have no qualms with the assistant manager that I complained to. She was professional.

I will not be returning to that store which is a shame because I love Dollar Tree.

Not What It Used to Be

Used to be great, but now it's just a mess. Shelves are always empty or half-stocked, and the lines take forever. Employees seem like they don’t wanna be there, and the store’s a disaster half the time.
