Find another company

The service Domene provides is fine enough, until you have to cancel. Like many other former customers here, the cancellation process has been a nightmare with misunderstandings, poor communication, and some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. The interface for cancellation is confusing and I instead opted to cancel in writing. I was billed again two months later. I again tried to cancel over email and the responses keep getting ruder and ruder. I was signed up for a hosting package I never agreed to. I have never experienced anything like it. It has been a very upsetting experience and I recommend finding another website registrar.

Horrible

I've been using Domene.no now, and my Wordpress instance has been reinstalled multiple times because it wouldn't load. I get the same message from support, NO actual good advices, just stuck on the same step.
I also can't use Cloudflare with a nonsense explanation, which is critical because I'm most likely going to grow my website in a short while.
My website won't load, I've deleted (possibly) conflicting records and re-added them, and after weeks, it is not working. Waited hours, nothing after the changes are "saved". Domene.no is bullshit, stay away from them!!!

They dont let you change your…

They dont let you change your nameservers without having 3 of their other products turned on!

I apologize if there's been a misunderstanding in this matter. You do not need to have three other products enabled to change your nameservers. The only requirement is that auto-renew is active on the domain. Once auto-renew is turned on, nameserver changes are allowed without purchasing or enabling any additional products.

Was happy, but EyeonID "service" and customer service changed that

As several mention, contacted by a company informing about a security service called EyeonID, swedish person describing an update to their service. First emails start arriving with an order confirmation and thank you for booking the service, something I did not do. There was no connection in the email to domene.no and no other valid information. It very much seemed like fraud and best left alone.

Next thing is I receive invoice for a year of the service. When in contact with customer service they refuse to do anything to cancel the service or do anything helpful. Swedish answers that are sorry I have had a bad experience, but can (will) not cancel.

I have engaged contact with Forbrukertilsynet on this matter. I have demanded them to halt the invoice while I contact Forbrukertilsynet and lawyer. Will attempt to contact the Miss Group if they are able to help.

Edit: I was contacted by Amina who has removed the service and creditted the invoice. Also offered free domain for 3 months. +1 star

Truly amazing customer service

Truly amazing customer service! Each time I had a question, they replied very fast and were able to help me in more ways than I had ever imagined ! I have dealt with other webproviders but they seem to not care about their customers.
