Disgusting company targeting vulnerable elderly people
This company have been bombarding my elderly mother in law who has dementia, trying to get her to pay for warranties on domestic appliances. My husband has spoken to them on several occasions to stop pestering her. I had the pleasure myself today at her house of answering her phone to a woman soliciting their products onto my mother in law. I asked her to stop ringing as we have asked them before to take her off their contact list she told me to “Shut up” then hung up. Enough said - shocking company.

Booked a repair for my Miele washing machine online. It said that I could pay online or if I prefer pay the engineer when he arrives. The next day I received a call from domestic care and repair to say that they require full payment up front ( £110 ) when I said that I would prefer to pay the engineer. She said that this particular engineer requires payment before he arrives. Obviously I cancelled. What a scam. Avoid this company

They are scammers I just saw £19.99 dd came out of my bank. I have never approved a service or dd didn’t gave them my bank details not sure how they got these details rang my bank they stopped any future payments . Please be alert when they call they say domestic and general but has nothing to do with this company.

They have set up a d/d on my 88 year old Uncles bank account despite him telling them he doesn’t need their cover. How they managed to get his bank details we know not, but i would advise you don’t touch these people with a barge pole.

I believe these people are poor warranty organisation ,i found 2 dd on my account both have been cancelled ,i want nothing more to do with them ,i dont want cold calls from them , they set up DD without my approval ,now cancelled. They are scammers.

Hi I rang over a month ago I was expecting a refund from a payment you took off me in May 2024 and I can’t get through to you as the phone number has been disconnected, please can you refund me £35? This will be the fourth time I have been contact to get my refund and I was promised last month it would only take 10 days to process yet again! If this doesn’t get sorted I will take it further and I am posting on trust pilot how bad your service has been. I have never had such a bad service a did think of changing to your company from Domestic and General but not now at the lack of customer care I have received. Never had any problems with Domestic and General in five years their service has been amazing .

Please please do not deal with this company !This despicable company have tried to con my elderly mother who is 96 and end of life in hospital that she took a policy out with them last year and want this years payment. Myself and both my daughters have repeatedly taken phone calls from them in the past 2 weeks and have literally begged them to remove my mums phone number, they will not. They want to know why she is in hospital, what's wrong with her etc which is none of their business. They have quoted a bank account number and card number which is no longer in use yet they refuse to listen to what we are saying. Our family is going through a really hard time yet they don't give a rats a**e about anything. They are con artists and prey on the elderly and vulnerable. Despicable company and employees

UPDATEwe have had an e mail from trustpilot asking us to prove we are having phone calls from this company as the company does not feel this review is genuine ! Of course thry dont as its showing exactly who they really are... Despicable! Today alone (26/02/24) we have had 3 phone calls in 10 minutes from them asking for the policy to be paid. One of the callers identified himself as Peter Rogers from Domestic Care and Repair. What part of my mum is in hospital and dying do these people not understand! I have checked, double checked and triple checked my mums account and no monies have ever be paid. I have no doubt this review will be removed but if 1 person sees it and it saves them the grief we have had I will be happy !
My first review of this awful company was removed by trustpilot due to Domestic Care and Repair disputing that my review was even valid, because we didn't have invoice numbers or e mails from them !

In the past week we have had 14 calls from Domestic Care and Repair asking to speak to my mother. Despite me telling them she is no longer here, she passed away they still continue to call, in fact one of the male callers said he didn't understand what passing away was !
And YES trustpilot I have evidence to back me up this time !

Then having read Trustpilot reviews, realise now this company are a company to avoid. And they have the cheek to take monthly payments out of the bank. Been reported to the bank and will report this to whoever else needs to know.

Phoned my father in-law and took £425 last month. They have phoned again today but, as we are dealing with his finances now, my father in-law took a number to phone back. The number is dead due to breach of terms and conditions and the email doesn't exist.

Cold Callers Harrassing the Elderly!!!This company aluded themselves to be…
This company aluded themselves to be Domestic & General when they cold called me Nov 2022. I took the policy out but then realised they were unobtainable and had really bad reviews. Their contact number is a deadline. They do not answer email complaints, they do not take any notice of a letter to cancel the policy and to never ever contact me again sent Nov 2022. My daughter has spoken to them by chance on two occasions when they have tried cold calling me again to take out a new policy and told them under no circumstances to make contact with us. I have had a call every day this week! I just want them to STOP harassing us. We are an elderly couple and do not need this persistent harrassment. Search the reviews, we are not the only elderly people that have complained. They are a con. AVOID and PROTECT your vulnerable relatives. Trustpilot admin...I am happy to provide proof that I have dealt with this company.
EDIT: company reported to Financial Conduct Authority. They have replied that the have searched the Financial Services Register. This company is NOT found and therefore should not be offering cover. They advise that anyone who has been mislead to contact Action Fraud.

This is a company that preys on the elderly and vulnerable. They have manged to persuade my elderly mother that she needs some extremely expensive insurance on some very cheap appliances. And when you phone to speak to someone, the call is cut off! AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Absolutely disgusting company
Absolutely disgusting company. Was told that they had refunded my dad, but they didn’t. Then I was asked to leave it to them while they look into it, and it has now been about a week. I have emailed and no one gets back to you and then I have tried to call and once AGAIN I can’t get through. This is beyond ridiculous now if I had owed them money they would be sure to get in contact with me to get it from me. My dad is in his 80’s with dementia and this is the treatment he is getting.
