Misleading Sale reductions
Their shop in Stow on the Wold currently have a sale and when I chose one of the items that had been marked down three times, I was told that it was no longer in the sale. (There was a large "Sale" sign on the front door and a lot of items with reductions.) The sales assistant called the manager who then attempted to get me to pay one of the interim mark-downs (which was nearly £20 more than the lowest mark-down!) I then found another item that was exactly the same in a different colour with the same mark-down tickets! I know that price tickets are simply invitations to buy and no retailer is obliged to sell at the ticket price, but this could still be construed as misleading and certainly doesn't leave me with a pleasant taste in my mouth. In my opinion, if you want to sell your goods at a certain price, you should honour the price ticket and not attempt to charge more at the till! I won't be going back!

i had a problem with the postal charge, after contacting customer service i got a nice email giving me FREE postage on my order. the website is nicely presented with some really lovely items, including glassware from France, and lots of homewares i've never even seen in any other shops. i live too far away to visit their actual shops, but would highly recommend their online shop.
