Ordered online. The item I asked for was unexpectedly out of stock, and their system hadn't caught it. They got hold of me promptly by email, told me *why*, and offered me options - they had a perfectly good substitute item of the same price in stock and substituted it without hassle. I placed an urgent order for a hand fastening tartan for my daughter’s wedding the following week. It needed made specially and I received it within a few days.
The excellent friendly attention was greatly appreciated and I felt this company has a personal touch. David went out his way to make sure tartan, delivery etc was what I wanted, definitely recommend this great company.

I had ordered a brown Thistle sporran and a black Thistle sporran was derived. After advising Donaldson's of the error they graciously informed me would make my order correct and send it to me, which they did. They even provided the necessary materials to return the black Thistle sporran. During the entire process I was kept informed of the status of my order. Donaldson's went above and beyond to correct this issues. I really appreciate that. Thanks.

My modern hunting Hamilton flat cap arrived in the mail today. Very happy with the quality and the finish of the hat. So now I have both modern tartan versions. Great work, love them both. One is green and the other is red. Thank you.

Great selection, but not all tartans are always available. Still the customer care personnel are very helpful and you will always be pleased. The material of the cloth is of high quality although it is inexpensive.
Very quick delivery. I’ve ordered twice and was satisfied with my first order, just waiting for my second one at the moment.
