Marcus and Ben did an excellent job in transforming our dated, dark-stained staircase into a modern oak and glass design, which we are thrilled with. They are very professional, helpful and clean and tidy and we would thoroughly recommend them.

We had a very awkward and narrow staircase, and Marcus and Ben designed and installed a fantastic new stairs and bannisters. We now have a truly WOW stairs and hall showpiece.

I had a very good experience with Dorset Stairs. Although not a novel design, the staircase is in an old house with its own quirks. Marcus and Ben installed it beautifully and were a pleasure to have around. They also demonstrated their professionalism by coming back to tweak some studwork under the stairs as I liaised with the plasterers. No hesitation in recommending them!

This was quite a big refurbishment taking out a 1980's mahogany galleried staircase, and replacing with a light oak and glass contempory one. The stair case structural work took three days, and the decorator another three days, with a couple of hours in there for the carpet fitter to relay existing carpets. Marcus and Ben did an amazing job on the staircase, and work was carried out to a really high standard. Both Jason's (decorator and carpet fitter) again did fantastic work. We're really pleased with the job, the glass reflects back light in the hallway and really brightens the place up. (the old red/brown wood used to just absorb light). I had promised to leave a recent review, as these guys go back to back from one job to next, and they should have feedback which reflects their excellent work. (Andy, Mar2021)

We wanted to use a local company and these guys were helpful and professional from the start. They talked us through our options during the site visit kept us informed of when the work was going to take place. The old stairs were out and the new one in within one working day, very tidy work. A second day was needed for detailing and finishing off, very happy with the result.

Refurbishing our staircase was one of the last things left on our to do list. Having called in several companies, we couldn’t believe the differential in price on the quotes we were sent. Marcus and Ben came round to have a look and from the moment we met them, we felt confident in their ability and found their pricing, whilst not the cheapest, more realistic than several of the other companies. They did not disappoint. The work was carried out to a high standard, with the least amount of interruption and all preparation and cutting was carried out outside the house to avoid dust and mess. We found them to be very professional and personable. They are also great Communicators, an art which seems to be sorely lacking in a lot of businesses today. Start to finish, both Ben and Marcus have been fantastic. We found the business on google, and spoke with Ben to book in a quote for a new staircase. Marcus arrived in a timely manner, and reassured ourselves that we were in good hands. He sent the quotes we requested over, and the prices were extremely competitive. Today they came back to fit the glass and we are over the moon with the result. I would recommend Dorset Stairs to anyone who is looking to get a new staircase or a refurbishment. Great work guys

I’m really pleased with the installation of new stair bannisters, they really solved a difficult problem of not being able to get furniture upstairs. They designed and installed a bespoke stir bannister that can be removed when accessed is required. They are very pleasant, very reasonably priced and have done an excellent job. I have no hesitation recommending this company.

We recently renovated our home. When we had finished the place looked amazing but the balustrade looked dated and out of place.
I was over the moon that I came across dorset stairs when looking online. Marcus and Ben were absolutely fantastic from the point of quoting to finish. I went for light oak and glass panels, it was finished to a very high standard and looks really impressive.
I found they were very professional, arrived and finished exactly when promised, they clearly love what they do and are very skilled. Nothing was too much trouble. Could not recommend them highly enough!
