Small Broker dotloop review

I would feel that the most important support structure for a system specifically made to support a particular buisness would be the ability and willingness to hear groundlevel input from users and find working fixes to improve their systems usability. Not so with dotloop. I was instead supplied with a lecture on why their system was designed and why my need did not fit their perception of how the underlying buisness (not their system, the business) operates. Sorry, Thanks, Im a Licensed Broker and know how to maintain legality and protection, I need your system to help me organize and maintain my paperwork and I need user friendliness for my agents and clients. If I have to go back and use Zipform systems because yours won't integrate my needs why am a paying for yours? Its hard enough to get agents to learn a new routine and then have to tell them , "well use the old way or print it and wet sign it. Im sure your boomer client has a printer and scanner and knows how to use it or can go sit at Staples to complete the homework you just assigned. I'm confident as your Broker that your status as the agent who made all the steps easy and painless will mot suffer" Thank you dotloop for helping my Own status as a leader and growth coach. Im sure New agents and their clients will flock to me now. As a recent independant Broker looking for tools to streamline my systems after paying too much for too long to Big Box brokerages for their tools.. pass. Thanks for another expensive lesson. $600+ one time set up $125+ monthly. Gone. Do appreciate the 6 month opt out vs held to the 12month min contract. Glad that was offered vs any attmpt to keep my business. I will admit that its a huge part my fault for not understanding it was a Zillow system, they did so well running their own Brokerage I should have given that some thought.

We had a very frustrating experience…

We had a very frustrating experience with Dotloop. The services and capabilities presented during the sales process did not match what was actually delivered.

The approach felt very sales-driven—big promises upfront, but far less follow-through once we were in. That disconnect made the entire experience difficult to navigate.

Transparency matters in business, and unfortunately, that was lacking here. Proceed with caution and make sure everything is clearly documented before committing.

We started using Dotloop a few years…

We started using Dotloop a few years ago. Still very much a work in progress but it's worth the pain. They need to work on importing names, titles, etc better when using the Autofill function. Once might expect by now this part to be much better but alas, not yet. All that being said they outperform several of the competitors enough that they are still the go to standard for our entire office.
