Mona Khalil, a sea-turtle protector whose work depended on intact coastlines, was fatally wounded when her home was hit during Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon. Her story is a sharp reminder that political and operational choices can override any “planet-first” message.

It is even starker if most people in this tech company have or are actively involved in the system that enables this daily killing.
