Everything seems legitimate. DownloadApe says their downloads are spyware and malware free... However there are clearly things that are in a very GREY area of legitamcy like "Outlook 2014" ... (The latest Microsoft Suite version is 2013) which describes itself as "the unofficial" latest version of outlook,

The interface itself is clean and simple. The downloads seem fast and easy to work with. but still its no ninite

This website is extremely easy to use. Navigation is very clear and works seamlessly. The download options seem pretty solid as well. My only suggestion is to find some way to make the website more inviting, perhaps with a banner for the whole website or something of that sort. It has a little too much of a minimalistic look for me to feel it is a professional website.

I found Downloadape very easy to navigate. But perhaps even more important (to me anyway) is the fact that it doesn't have a "busy" look to it. I can't stand download sites with garish colors and lots of unrelated links. Great site and I recommend it.

The website is pretty basic right now. It doesn't paginate or anything, but it's simple and easy to use. If it were worked on a bit more it would be a really simple download portal. Needs a search box and pagination.

This website allows you to find free software without the distractions and hassle of dealing with websites like CNET. I'd say its not a new idea but it is well organized and looks good.

DownloadApe was a user-friendly service and I will be using this service in the future for any applicable downloading needs. I like the service is free, and the ads that make it that way are not too overbearing or do they disrupt the service provided. I highly recommend anyone to browse the catalog of software and give them a try!

Download ape is a clean looking website that gives you a lot of popular download options in one friendly place. The only complaint I would have is the noticeable amount of ad space but they need to support their venture somehow!

To be honest, anybody with a basic understanding of google can do what this website has done. It's an interesting concept, I just wouldn't use it. I don't need software to install software.

This site is honest and explains to me why it's content is free. Unlike other sites, "free" actually means free. All the content is promised to be virus free which is great, because i'm sick of running my virus scans every time I download something. This site is highly recommended!

I was actually just looking for a product like this. All the other options that I looked into didn't provide the safety guard that this product does. They also downloaded things that I didn't ask for. This is a MUST download.

The navigation is so easy and every thing is clearly stated as it should be.
One never finds it difficult to go through the required data and finds all required very easily.

I tried a software like this before and it downloaded things on my pc without me asking. I like that this software does NOT download additional products without your consent.

The site is easy to navigate with only a few ads per page. The software itself can be found on many different sites, but it is nice that Downloadape collects them in one place. I see using this site after reinstalling windows. The only down side is that the site doesn't appear to have linux version of the software to download.
