I went with doyouspain because the deal was good and the price looked cheap, but on arrival I got charged €120 for the damage waiver. I could have paid the excess, but for some reason they would have charged me €195. There was no option for me to get the car without paying them extra money. Bad service, would not use again, my worst ever car hire experience.

The on line form was easy to understand and your response was very quick. You provided great choices and I booked a great car at a bargain price.

I booked a car with you and couldn't get the car because I didn't have my international driver's license. I called you that same day and you would not return or give me credit for either the car rental which didn't happen or the insurance payment. It is not the way I would like to do business. I think a business should collect money for delivering a service if the service doesn't happen there should be some accommodation. Maybe not full return but something some accommodation. That wasn't fair. And good businesses like to be fair.

Car rental site was easy to use. Price is excellent with a great selection of cars. I look forward to picking the car up in Ibiza and grading the process.

- WORST COMPANY EVER -
I had a very disappointing experience with DoYouSpain.
I booked and paid €300 for a rental car via their platform with Goldcar. Before my arrival, I proactively contacted the rental company to inform them that I would arrive after office hours. I received written confirmation that my booking would remain valid and would not be treated as a no-show. nor cancellation.
However, when I arrived the next day, my booking had been cancelled and I was left without a car. I was forced to make a new booking on the spot for €450.
When contacting DoYouSpain, they did not take responsibility and simply referred me back to the rental company. As the intermediary, I expected them to assist or take ownership of the situation, but this was not the case.
I paid for a service that was not delivered, and no proper support or solution was provided.
I would not recommend using this platform, as customer support is lacking when problems arise. And they make you pay DOUBLE

Have used the site for a number of years now. It is always cheaper and the booking process is very straightforward.
No doubt will use again.

Booked a car in Malaga through DoYouSpain with DelPaso as the supplier. The issue at pickup was already serious — but what followed with DoYouSpain was even more disappointing.
I saw some negative reviews about DoYouSpain but assumed I would not be affected, as I am a reasonable customer with many years of car rental experience — I know what to expect.
At the rental desk, we noticed and pointed out mismatch between DoYouSpain booking and DelPaso egreement. We were given an ultimatum: accept the new terms or leave without a car.
Under pressure, we agreed to proceed. After we mentioned we would reflect this in a review, the DelPaso representative became aggressive and said (his exact words): “I will give you the shittiest car, no full insurance and you will pay for all the damage.” We stayed calm and said OK, but he refused to provide the car at all and told us to leave.
To be absolutely clear: we did not cancel the booking — THE SUPPLIER REFUSED TO HONOR IT, EVEN WHEN WE AGREED TO THEIR TERMS.
So we are taken away from the airport by shuttle bus and left without a car. We then had to arrange a new rental ourselves. Ironically, ClickRent nearby provided a better deal and excellent service without any booking.
What is most concerning is DoYouSpain’s handling of the case. Despite clear explanation, they repeatedly replied with generic statements that cancellation and refund are not possible after pickup time — completely ignoring the fact that no service was provided due to the SUPPLIERS’S REFUSAL.
This shows a lack of proper case review and no accountability for partner behavior.
We ultimately had to initiate a credit card chargeback to recover our money.
If something goes wrong with your booking, do not expect support from DoYouSpain — you WILL be left without a car and without assistance.
Update:
Exactly as per reply from DoYouSpain below, they do not care and only reply in generic statements.
