Crappy customer service

I placed and order from nordstrom.com about a month ago and my order was expected to arrive by January 8th. Of course the delivery service nordstrom uses had to be dpd... My order was expected to be delivered on January 3rd. They attempted to deliver my order and since they couldn't they left a note (according to the tracking). I found that really interesting since I was AT HOME at the time of the attempted delivery. As it turns out the address was incorrect (although I double-checked my given address and it was correct - so not my fault). Sure, mistakes happen and I quickly contacted their customer service... that was a week ago. They still haven't replied...
And now I find out from their tracking they are sending back my order. No notifications, no reply mail...
I just contacted nordstrom, hopefully they can still make up for DPD's incompetence.
I'll update this review once this issue has been resolved.

DPD is the worst in every way.

DPD has proved to be as useless in Hungary and I’ve seen the reviews it’s received from other countries. Dpd.hu should be avoided at ALL COSTS. I ordered a package way before Christmas so it would have time to arrive to me much before then. Almost one month ago the tracker said it arrived in my city and now Christmas is almost here and I still haven’t received it. How can a package get from China to Hungary in a few days but take nearly a month to deliver once it’s already in my city? DPD is the most unprofessional, incompetent company I think I’ve ever encountered. Terrible delivery method. Terrible communication with customers and terrible customer service. They have ruined my Christmas and wasted my money. DO NOT USE DPD EVER.
