This is the worse I ever seen! it took NINE DAYS to get a pack from Romania to Italy, emails where I didn't got any emails, calls with no result and a dam waist of time to finally get my pack full broken with what was inside!
The only advantage if I can call it like this is that I didn't paid too much! But for the rest, FORGET this company!

How is this even allowed? False information about my deliveries,spend a bunch of time to figure out things by myself and nothing,couldn't get in contact with my purchases. Also,customer support service has a short program which,of course ,makes matters worse.

I wanted to get my parcel, the guy literally called me one minute before arriving I told him, I'll go home but then he was like naw i'll deliver it tomorrow. I've tried to call them back but a robot responded with 5 useless options so I guess Ima use their useless app... ALSO I am unable to select the delivery time so if the delivery man arrives at 9am sharp I gotta be awake...

Lousy client support, zero interdepartmental communication and no interest to solve what they had screwd up. Never use this firm's services again..

⭐ 1 star – Package paid, never delivered, zero accountability
I am extremely disappointed with DPD Romania.
A fully paid IKEA order, placed on 11.01.2026 has still not been delivered. The last update in the DPD tracking system is from 14.01.2026:
“Clarify delivery. Rescheduled for another day.”
Since then.. no updates, no explanations, nothing.
I contacted DPD’s call center for three consecutive days. During the first call, I confirmed the full delivery address with a representative, and I was told I would be contacted by email. That never happened. Despite multiple calls, no solution was offered and no one could tell me where the package actually is.
When I finally sent an official written complaint, DPD’s response was to redirect me entirely to IKEA, claiming they cannot help because IKEA is the contracting party.. completely ignoring the fact that the parcel is physically in DPD’s custody.
There is:
• no transparency,
• no communication,
• no responsibility taken for a missing shipment.
If something goes wrong, DPD simply passes the problem to the merchant and leaves the customer stuck in the middle. Very frustrating experience and absolutely unreliable service. I would not recommend DPD to anyone.

I never actually received my delivery due to DPD incompetence. The situation was handled extremely poorly from start to finish.
What made the experience even worse was dealing with the complaints process there appears to be only one person handling complaints, and their attitude and communication were unprofessional and unhelpful. Instead of resolving the issue, it added to the frustration.
Overall, very disappointing service.
Completely unacceptable service. I would strongly advise avoiding DPD România if you want your parcel delivered or your issue handled seriously.

They have sent my parcel into another town, with the right address in front of them and they deliver into another town…. Disgusting
Not bringing the packege at the adress
They say their policy is not to bring your package at the door. They call you to get out în the street, but that means that they don't deliver it to the adress and you should know that but nowhere is writen. The delivery boy was really not kindly, when I asked him nicely to come to the door for giveing me the package he says he can not. Asking why, he instisted with "I can not...because I have to wait for some others people" :/ (dude, you shloud not wait for them, you should serve them).

Terrible..I ordered something from Ikea..first time, it might have been Ikea's fault as they had sent me an sms ststing the delivery will be done on a Saturday between 9-17..i waited and waited and by 4pm I called and I said I cannot wait anymore. Ikea told me they will tall to the delivery company. That's when I found out it is DPD..so I go myself on their website to check what is happening, maybe the guy is nearby so I could wait a little longer, but the AWB was in the system and that is it. No other info. On Monday I receuved an email from DPD and I understood it hadn't been processed for delivery so i waited for nothing on Saturday. There goes the delivery..I call the guy and I say could you please let me know in advance, at least half an hour before so I can arrange pick up? I have to give it to him, he did call me 20mins in advance, this one was on me, the workers that were supposed to receive the package left and could not return so fast while the delivery could not wait. The second attempt, as per my reschedule was the following day..only the delivery guy gave me 5 mins notice and I needed 15mins to arrive there so again failed. I rescheduled it for Friday, but on Thrusday I receive an email that my package is on its way to me. Again, calling the delivery guy, he tells me he will be there in approx. 30 mins. I can understand he cannot give me an exact time, but from 30 mins to 2hrs and 25min, there is a big difference especially during working hours as this is their schedule and the package was too big to deliver at work etc. If you try to check the live status location of the delivery guy, the system doesn't work so totally useless. It took 4 attempts to deliver one package and me having to run away from work to ne able to receive the said package. I feel like I need a holiday after all this rumble. Hopefully never again with DPD Romania, or at least not by choice.
Service not done and no customer orientation
The delivery did not happen, placing the order was difficult, they damaged the package and, instead of still delivering as I and the receiver asked, they preferred to send it back to Romania, on my cost. So I lost a lot of money and time, they didn't care of any of my requests and the info received from different operators was wrong and delayed

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the recent delivery service. On 31st October 2025, I arranged for a parcel to be delivered to the specified address in Constanta. Unfortunately, the courier did not deliver the parcel as agreed. Instead, the status was updated to "Refused by recipient," which is inaccurate and wrong. After the failed delivery attempt, I visited their office and was informed that the parcel had been sent back to the sender. This is not the first time I have experienced issues with your courier service, and I find this level of service unacceptable.
Avoid it like the plague
I sent a package from Romania to the Netherlands with their international service and when it nearly arrived at the destination it was sent back for being damaged. Basically, the package travelled fine through many countries and warehouses and suddenly was damaged at the end... I was never called to let me know if I want it delivered as it was. And they also charged me for sending the package back. After contacting many times on phone and email, I finally received an answer 1 month later that the package was assembled incorrectly although it was fine, so no reimbursement.

DPD Romania – a case for Consumer Protection Authorities
This company should not be allowed to operate as a delivery service.
After three weeks of fake delivery attempts to a so-called “PayPoint” that doesn’t even exist, my parcel was sent back to the sender, without a single real attempt to deliver it to my actual address.
Customer Service replied only once to my emails, with the same copy-paste line I was told on the phone: “It will be delivered tomorrow.” No investigation, no acknowledgment of the issue, no explanation.
They kept marking it as “returned to deposit” after failed delivery to the fictitious location, so I went there personally just to confirm. It turned out to be a small local bar / minimarket, and the owners said: “DPD keeps sending people here, but we’re not a pick-up point.”
To make it even more ridiculous, this supposed “PayPoint” is a 10-minute walk from my house. Why would any sane logistics system repeatedly fail to deliver to a fake locker right next to my home instead of just delivering to my door?
Now the parcel is somewhere in Arad (I live in Bucharest), Customer Support has stopped replying altogether, and I have no idea what’s supposed to happen next.
This is not just incompetence, it’s systemic dishonesty.
DPD Romania needs new management and urgent investigation from Consumer Protection.
