I cancelled the order due to a crack in the tank. No response. The day before delivery, I phoned about 10 times and sent another email. No response. Oil delivered, leaked.

Money-Grabbing Incompetence
Day 1
We ran out of domestic heating oil (faulty oil level meter, my fault for not checking the oil level) and so looked around for an emergency delivery. Dragon said they could deliver the next day and so I paid the premium applied to next day deliveries.
Day 2
I called the morning that delivery was due and was told that the oil would be with us by 2pm. Happy days! 2pm came and went... OK, the driver is running late, no problem. 4pm arrived and we have no delivery and no communication from Dragon to explain why. So I called them again. The woman on the end of the phone told me the 'router' would call me back. 4.30pm. No call from the mysterious 'router'. I called. "Oh, the router has an email asking him to call you." Nothing else. No explanation. No delivery. 5pm ...on the dot... I called again. No answer. Everyone's gone home happy that even if their customers are freezing to death, they have a lovely evening planned. Furious doesn't quite describe my mood at this point.
Day 3
I called first thing and asked when we could expect delivery. "You're not down for delivery today." So obviously I'm a little irate and the tone of my voice alerts the woman on the phone that I need to speak to a manager. Cue Mike. Lovely, friendly Mike. Took my details and called me back saying they had moved a few things around and I would get delivery later that day and that there had been snow in Denbighshire the previous day. (I live 20 odd miles south of the Bangor depot). Far be it from me to tell Dragon how to run their operation but checking the weather forecast and adjusting promises accordingly might be a good idea for the future.
Anyway, the oil turned up at about 2pm.
Days 4-20
No apology. No offer of a partial refund (for the premium paid for next day delivery). No nothing.
Day 21
Email arrived in my inbox asking how you did.
You did terribly.

Disappointed
Spoke to them to see if a site delivery to drums was OK and they said yes, when I placed the order online they phoned to say they wouldn't fill drums on a construction site. Took 10+ days to receive a refund.
In the meantime I got another supplier to deliver much faster and much cheaper so I can't recommend them.
Excellent service and responsiveness
Excellent service and responsiveness. Moved into new house in January and were very low on oil. Dragon made sure we received a timely delivery.
Long wait for delivery after payment…
Long wait for delivery after payment had been taken. The delivery driver churned up large, deep, divots of grass outside our premises, where we had planted spring bulbs. Usually there is no problem, but this time it was rather disappointing.
Poor service this time but usually good
Ordered kerosene a good week to ten days before the deadline for promised pre-Christmas delivery. The deadline approached and no sign of the kerosene. Phoned them and received excuses but up to a few days prior to the deadline they were still advertising "order now for pre-Christmas delivery." The kerosene didn't arrive before Christmas - luckily there was a sufficient amount in the tank to get us through the holiday period. It was well into the new year before the kerosene arrived. Poor service and customer service. Will think twice before using them again.
Sadly wouldn’t use them again
Purchased online, 500ltrs. Got given a delivery date. Delivery date came and went. No delivery and I had to chase them via the phone to find out why. Other friends were having the same issues with them so I rang round other providers and found someone who could deliver next day.
Then called Dragon back to see if I could cancel my order and get a refund. Was told yes, and only took a couple of days to go back on my card. That didn’t happen either until I called them 4 times over 2 weeks. Was told twice it had been refunded yet the accounts department said it hadn’t been done. Finally got my money back.
Would advise anyone buying online to call them first and check they can actually deliver and not take the date quoted on the website as a definite delivery date.
Speedy delivery
Received my oil promptly and in very good time so I am quite pleased thank you.
From Jones’ @ Llandygai
From Jones’ @ Llandygai. We generally shop around for our oil, but will be coming back to dragon oils in Bangor moving forward. The service was great. The standout, and the reason I’m writing this review, is because the driver was top notch, nothing was too much trouble. A lovely chap

I paid for 1500 litres and the driver came and put 682litres in the tank because there was no more oil in the tanker I phoned up a week later when i was told to wait 3 days to receive my money back £800.
Very disappointed
Delivery was a few days late
Delivery was a few days late. I was most disappointed that no regard was taken for garden flowers which got damaged in the beds by the fuel hose being dragged across my back garden.
A couple of cones would have solved this problem.
Great service!
These are difficult times .
These are difficult times .. and were only 1 day late with their predicted delivery.
So very happy and the price I paid.
