Dragon Smoke Studios was a brilliant location to shoot in. The studio manager super helpful at every stage of production - they were very accommodating and more people need to know about this space!
We needed a long wall without pillars to hang a very long painting for a TV documentary, and it was an ideal studio! Sandy who manages it could not have been kinder or more helpful, which made it less stressful, as we had a lot to film including interviews. On a practical level it was ideal. We could drive our vehicle straight in and there was ample free parking, plus a lovely kitchen, shower and all the facilities we needed. D-Lux lighting were 20yds away, so we had all we needed on site. Great value for money, and everyone made it very easy for us, so we'd definitely return next time we need a studio.
Great space!! We hired their studios for the duration of a film, 4 months, and had a great experience. All the facilities needed are there; toilets, kitchen, racking if need it, fold lifts, etc. Used the warehouse as a prop store and the offices, which are separated upstairs, are where the art department was. The workshop next door was very convenient and I must say that the owner and studio manager both were very very helpful and accommodating. Overall everyone left well happy and definitely will come back for the next one! If it's available:-)
