Pre booked a taxi for 11.30pm giving them 24 hours notice. Arrived at the pick up location early and watched the taxi on the app get further away. When I rang I was told the taxi was 3 mins away despite the app showing they were 15 mins away. I was told my taxi had other customers to deal with, then told me it was my fault they were late because I didn't give them a postcode, despite the app showing my pick-up location.

I pre-booked because of train strikes and the party I needed picking up from was in an industrial estate so wanted to get home safely. They left me stranded for 30 mins before I cancelled and found another taxi on the street, which meant I had to walk alone through a badly lit site on bonfire night.

It seems you can't actually book a taxi, you book a time for them to open the booking up to taxi drivers to accept if they want. It's a dangerous and misleading app, and should not be trusted for bookings. Stick to Uber or booking directly with other taxi companies.

NEVER AGAIN !! Booked a taxi threw the dragon app at 18.33pm on 03/11/22 of course paying off my debit card. My first choice of taxi services were Uber but they were very busy so I opt’d for dragon, may I add. Anyway, I get outside my home, I set out the car & the driver looked left & right to say ‘where are going you have not paid’ so I said I have paid drive, no you have not he said it’s not come threw. So I got back into the car thinking oh just maybe taking a little longer to go threw & it was raining so didn’t really want to stand out in it waiting for payment to go threw. So, anyway he then proceeds to LOCK the car & says he’s ringing office, so I said ok go ahead, the woman’s attitude was absolutely disgusting ! She asked for my name I give it, she told me I had booked twice threw the automated system I said that’s incorrect I use the app as I only ever carry card, she then asked me to confirm my bank details as apparently the card they had on the system was not matching the details I was giving, which is rubbish because it’s the only card I’ve ever used with dragon app. I knew exactly what she was going to do, take another payment although she was just trying to ‘activate’ my card, so of course I transferred every penny from my account over to my mums because I knew I had already paid ! Lady on the phone then said your card have declined & said well yeh that’s right my bank account is empty but that doesn’t matter as I HAVE paid ! Whilst on the phone this lady on the phone CANCELLED the booking that I had made on the app. I lost my temper & did swear towards her as I was VERY upset at this point over this nonsense, she then told me to sort it with the driver. Driver said I want payment I said sorry but I toke one ride I paid one ride my proof is here you have seen my proof now it’s nothing to do with me you need to sort it with the office ‘I don’t get paid he said’ , I then told the driver I was calling my dad & I did. The driver then unlocked me out of the car told me I can get my shopping from the boot & take it into the property .. when my dad came around he proceeded to tell him he did NOT lock me in the car & that the price was a complete different price to what I had paid & completely changed his attitude with my dad around ! I will walk before I get in another dragon taxi again come sun rain or snow !

Appalling company. First of all they won’t allow disabled people to pre book. They didn’t make the first appointment. So when we booked the return journey, we confirmed twice and then when it was late we were now told our disabled daughter would have to wait a further 35 minutes in the freezing rain. We are appalled that this company is allowed to flout the Disability Act.

Not reliable at all. Booked a taxi and it did not arrive at the booked time. When I phoned to chase it up, I was assured the taxi was on its way and would be with me in a few minutes. Still didn’t turn up - I ended up missing my train as a result. I would have been happy if it had been cancelled as at least then I would have been able to make alternative arrangements. Communication was so poor. I’d avoid at all costs.

This company are appalling and putting people in danger. Yet again a taxi was booked in advance for 1am last night. When it didn't arrive I chased and was told it would be late. The second time I chased I was told it had been cancelled because there were no drivers in the area. I was not told ! Stranding people at 2am is dangerous, totally unprofessional and reckless. You clearly do not care because you continue to do it to people. Dragon Taxis , DO NOT take bookings when you can not guarantee there will be a taxi and let people know so they do not trust you and are left stranded when you let them down. 30/10/22

Funny how when you book a taxi on the app the fare is £15 but no one picks the booking up but there are lines of taxies waiting in town charging £30 to £40 for the same distance but cash only.

Booked for 14.40 5 hours in advance, notified at 14.40 it would be 25 mins which meant I would have missed my appointment so cancelled. Will not use again.

Pre-booked 24hrs in advance, but no driver turns up. 20 minutes after the arrival time, the booking is accepted by a driver who says it will take him 40 minutes to arrive. So I cancel the booking, only to find that they have charged me the full fare, and it will take 5 days to refund. Extremely poor attitude from the central office too. Didn’t used to get this service from Premier!

The driver for our outgoing journey had been given the incorrect postcode. So we had to do 90% of the navigation.
My partner rang up when we arrived at our destination to seek assurance that we wouldn't have any issues with our return journey.
When the time came for collection, the firm sent a text message to say running 20 minutes late. Once this had elapsed we had to chase twice. We were told the same thing "the driver is just finishing off another job and will be another 15 minutes".
On the final phone call to chase, we received no definitive guarantee that the driver would arrive. And no actions if the driver didn't arrive.
So after waiting an hour stood on a cold dark road, we booked an uber. After a ten minute wait he arrived and we managed to get home. Honestly do not use this firm, you'll get to your destination faster by walking. Absolute shower.

Most useless cab service in Cardiff. The taxi was late over 1.5h because they would not allow to pre book a cab, assured we will get a cab just calling 15mins before needing it, then said they can’t find a driver. Avoid this dumpster fire at all costs!

Absolute disgusting shambles the most horrendous service ever, please avoid like the plague they literally don’t care. You’re pre-booking is totally pointless, no taxi is allocated to you at all. When the time comes your job enters a taxi lottery if any driver can be bothered to take it. Waited over 30 minutes for 2 pre booked taxis. Never ever use them again

Left stranded by Dragon Taxis again. The company routinely accepts bookings it cannot honour. Rubbish service.

Booked a taxi... Fare quoted... Next morning they want another £2.50...ring them they are not interested. It's only a small amount but the principle is not correct.. Nice app but honestly don't bother they have no interest if you have a complaint.

Ordered taxi 24hrs in advance for surprise birthday lunch. Rang when 5 mins late told taxi due in 15 mins. Now 25 mins late told could not here me, when I called rang again they said soon! This has happened on at least 4 occasions after pre booking taxis.I’ve just downloaded the Uber App and won’t be using Dragon/Premier again.

I would like to bring to your attention the poor service that is being provided by Dragon taxis Barry. On several occasions the company has not shown up saying they can’t find the address,have been late and on the last occasion have told me that it would take a driver 25 mins to travel 3 miles after the first driver did not show.
I require a taxi to travel less than a mile to the Sully surgery therefore I need a reliable service as the surgery uses an appointment based system. I have now missed several appointments due to the poor service they have provided which quite frankly is not good enough.
I will no longer use this company and will post my findings on the local Sully hub to inform others of the poor service Dragon taxis provide. Dave

Booked an airport transfer with another taxi firm, on arrival back from my holiday at 2.30 am dragon turned up.
Rang the office and said I didn't book dragon he didn't inform me that the company I booked with had been taken over by dragon.
I already paid £50 for the transfer and dragon charged me again another £76 or I would be left at the airport with no means of getting back from cardiff to Newport.
Would never use them again total rubbish

I booked a taxi at 6.45pm to pick me up at 10.00pm from the Fox Inn, St. Bride's Major to Coity in Bridgend. Dragon Taxis rang me @ 10.13pm to tell me they would be 30/35 minutes late. At 10.55 I rang to ask where was my taxi, to be told they had cancelled my taxi as they had no drivers! I'm a female, on my own, trying to get home and when I complained they put the phone down on me! They couldn't care less and left me stranded, such service- NOT!! If you're female and live in the Bridgend, Cardiff or Newport areas, where Dragon operate, do not trust them to get you home. They will leave you stranded without a care for your safety so avoid at all cost!

I need to be in work for 5:30 because the shift leaders can't open the shop by themselves so I decided to book a taxi in advance cause of around that time it starts getting busy got told it would be 20 minutes to wait which fair enough no problem but then 20 minutes come and go and still no taxi so when I call back to find out all I get is a rude person on the other end saying they will send someone soon as they can and to stop calling though I explained not only have I gotta let my boss know but also your making me miss out on pay in the process plus also means I'm gonna have to stay on at work because of this.

You guys need to seriously learn to prioritize the people who book in advance cause this is pathetic.

Tried calling dragon taxis 3 times before getting an actual real booking. Waiting for taxis that haven't even been booked. This is not the first time of having bad experiences with this firm, don't no why I even rang them again. Won't be making that mistake again. Absolutely useless

Dragon taxi Newport Gwent, taxi arrived on time car was clean but got charged £20 for a journey that should have only cost about £10. The driver made some pretence about his device stopped working.
I phoned Dragon up to complain but the weren’t interested this seems to me too be a well known thing/ scam. Would have to be desperate to use them again.
